I work outdoors and I have found this app excellent for locating both domestic and commercial customer addresses the majority of which are in rural locations. I had a password reset issue today with getting access to my app. I made contact through the support email address and received a response within minutes which allowed me to rectify the issue and gain access straight away. Not only has the app been excellent but the support received when I needed it was also excellent. The layout is significantly easier to use and the integration with various apps such as the TomTom trucknav is fantastic ### 5/5 — Initial Thoughts *2026-03-04, version 4.0.5* Due to Covid I lost my work like thousands of other people. I have taken on a job as a multi drop courier driver for a PLC company. Their PDA route list sat nav built in is useless as the triangle (you) on the little screen and the destination (big red dot) often merge into one and cover the road and junction you are looking for and at. No help when you’re in a rush. My own sat nav apps on my phone aren’t much better. Another driver told me of DELM8 so I downloaded. All I can say is I am glad I did. It has literally saved me hours trying to find addresses that normal sat navs just give ‘there or there abouts’ pointers. I didn’t realise this was a subscription service based app, you don’t find that out until you sign up but I have no problem with this, I am using it professionally and the low monthly cost is worth it to me. Right, here are a few thoughts and things for the wish list to the developers... firstly, after you’ve done a postcode search and you get the list of all addresses, after you press the address you need, google maps opens up. So far great. But and this is a BIG but - as couriers our in all weathers, wet hands from rain or dampness can affect the touch sensitivity on our phones and I’ve found several times I’ve accidentally pressed a neighbouring address which is several doors or worse still half way up a road because I’ve selected the wrong address accidentally. This can happen with fat fingers too. When maps opens up there isn’t a confirmation of the house number just the map co-ordinates so you won’t know until you are at the wrong address. All this stems from the address list - when we press our selected address there is no confirmation that something has been selected before the screen blanks and goes to google maps. Is it possible to have the address we select ‘highlight’ like as if a button was depressed on screen? I’m sure as app developers this wouldn’t be hard to implement? That way we can see we have selected the correct address even when rushing. On another matter I tried using DELM8 on my iPad to see a bigger map and it asked me to ‘reset device’ to be able to log in to use (so then I couldn’t use it on my phone until I logged back in there). While I understand this (to stop people sharing) when I subscribe, I would think a two device license could be included for convenience if at all possible. I’m only a week into using DELM8 and can highly recommend it to anyone who multi drops. I’m going to contact the developers with a copy of this review and bullet points my wish list and minor concerns, so will update review when I receive a response. To delete previous saved routes you have to swipe then hit the delete button then a pop up to confirm which just slows you down. I input my addresses in the order my route is and when they transfer them to mapping software they are all muddled up all over the place. The removal of the feature / function to be able to preplan your route on the ‘ multiple destination ‘ button , prior to leaving base was the main reason many use this app. The ability to preload any remote address where there is no internet signal and pinpoint that address was perfect . But now it has been removed it has rendered the app unfit for purpose. Changing this app from a 5 star app to a 1 star app overnight. Cancelled the subscription on the app and via email, no refund offered after cancellation. However they charged me in 7 months for another year. I have contacted them directly again the same day they charged the money from my bank account. Answer was very rude when I have asked for refund literally few min after my money moved the bank, responded very strictly that there is no way they will give me a refund . I have explained that this subscription was cancelled, they also didn’t give any warning like email or sending me an invoice before!!! The end of this is I had to pay for another year for this service and I am not using it. What a shady business!!!!! **Developer response:** Hi Iva, We're not rude and this can be confirmed by many Delm8 users that we have interacted with. Also we had proven to you that you had not cancelled your subscription ohterwise you will never have been charged for renewal. We had politely explained that it is your responsibility to cancel your subscription before renewal, and it looks like during the appeal you initiated the authorities agreed with us. This being an in-app purchase from Apple they are responsible for refunds. We serve 1000s of drivers daily and they're happy with our service. ### 2/5 — Out of date *2024-03-01, version 3.5* I was using this extensively, but I found some of the information on here to be out of date. so the one that I use now, is Ceredigion Maps. I’ve been using the app for a few weeks and it’s a game changer! In conjunction with google maps regarding road closures ect I’ve saved a lot of time and stress. Enter the postcode and find the address and go. I’ve been loading up all the addresses on my manifest using the camera and then navigate.
