This is very frustrating, since working directly on the Delphin itself is very tedious and difficult. Why don’t you fix your iOS software? If you don’t, your competition will blow you away pretty soon. ### 1/5 — Nothing stays connected *2022-02-23, version 3.1.4* I got this app to connect to my device once and now it won't even connect after I scan. I've tried re-downloading the app also resetting my whole device and still it's not connecting. No apps show up on the app and the refresh button doesn’t work. It is impossible. I have spent hours today and I am pretty much close to packing the device up to send it back. My device is not showing anywhere to download music or podcast, or anything for that matter. I have looked at all the videos, read everything I can read, left multiple emails with the company andI am too frustrated to continue with it. ### 1/5 — This is a Lousy app *2021-05-19, version 3.0.3* This Delphin app is worthless. I spent hours trying to download a book from my Audible account to the Delphin using this app on my IPhone 11 Pro and never did get it to work. It's missing key icons like Home, and Files. I ended up pairing the Delphin with my sister's android and it worked perfectly. Took just a few minutes to get the device to actually download two books from my library to the Delphin. ### 1/5 — Not working - top nav doesn’t display *2021-04-25, version 3.0.3* App not working with iphone11. Top nav shows battery and storage but not “files”. No bottom nav below that shows device (phone) checkbox and the other so you can transfer/save files from iPhone to device. I can listen to only one book. The app will just not stay connected, not after checking the iPhone permissions, not after checking the network, nothing. It’s extremely frustrating. Even sitting with both the device and my phone sitting directly at WiFi source. Almost impossible to enter log in info for apps directly on to the Delphin screen. Made for an extremely frustrating first attempt as use and I definitely would not recommend the device to someone else. ### 1/5 — Remote app just shows black screen *2020-12-17, version 2.1.2* Whenever I try to connect the remote app, the device thinks it’s connected but I just get a black screen on the app. So I had to sign into everything on the device’s super small screen. And downloading new audio books from the Delphin itself is very hard because of the small screen. When the app works it’s great. But it rarely does. ### 1/5 — Won’t Connect to WiFi! *2020-07-12, version 1.1.3* It won’t connect to wifi manually or automatically. It fails every time I try to connect to wifi automatically, and manually there is no next/forward button after entering the password. You can only go back! Incredibly frustrating. As it stands it is useless. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Absolutley horrible *2024-07-31* It's pretty bad when I found myself having to use the small screen on the Delphin to get something to come up on the iPhone screen. I have fast internet and was located next to it. Just awful and disappointing. ### 1/5 — Black screen when opening apps *2024-07-17* I can connect it to my Delphin 2 and get the opening screen with my installed apps. But when I click on an app, I just get a black screen within a frame with a few buttons on the remote app. The installed app’s interface never pops up, although the “may take a moment” popup does disappear. Clicking on the remote app’s buttons makes the Delphin’s home screen warp and jiggle, and I hear a beep if the headphones are plugged in. So the connection is there, but the remote app isn’t working properly. I gather the app and the device are supposed to mirror each other when they’re connected? But I can’t get the app to display anything of use. It’s utterly useless. Deleting and reinstalling didn’t help, either. iPhone 13 mini. ### 1/5 — What’s the point? *2024-01-02* This app is awful. I am leaning towards believing the same thing about the device as well. ### 1/5 — Sending it back *2023-06-21* I have purchased at least 3 ipod waterproof nano from this company- so I just got the new Delphin2 for Fathers Day this week 2023- after over an hour I quit- can’t read the screen-can’t connect or stay connected to the iphone app.. More stress - bummed out- won’t even read the QR code and who goes to the Amazon app store ? Now I know why Apple has a 3 trillion dollar market valuation ### 1/5 — Not for IOS users *2023-03-02* This app looks great. However, you can’t connect with an iPhone. I was pleasantly surprised when I had no issues. I have an Apple phone and everything worked as advertised. I guess they have been very busy fixing all the bugs previously reported. ### 4/5 — Good job *2020-07-18, version 1.1.3* This was definitely a small scale developer project but the encryption is good and it works as designed (use your phone to type instead of typing on the small Delphin device). ### 2/5 — Needs work *2023-09-29* Was expecting the app to have a regular sized keyboard to type. But it was literally the same exact app but on your phone. Kind of pointless other the fact that you can click things easier because your phone is bigger than the Delphin screen.
