### 4/5 — Wonderful game

*2026-05-29*

When I was looking at getting the avp I was excited for this game. A lot of reviews saying the game is crashing with new update. Uncheck the gloves and the game will no longer crash. They look great so hopefully the problem can be fixed soon. Games a lot of fun with the little bit I have played so far

### 3/5 — Demeo

*2025-10-12, version 1.40.1*

Good game but crashes a lot on I pad 8 could you please fix that that would be good as I can’t play game more than *5 mins before it crashes thanks

### 4/5 — Boardgame,Beautiful, Rough

*2025-10-09*

Reviewing single-player:

Mechanics: Fine. Falls squarely in the center of lite boardgame geekery genre. If you enjoy that genre you'll probably enjoy at least one playthrough, mechanics-wise. (caveat: see UI notes - you're going to have to guess-and-check some of the mechanics)

Visuals: Wonderful. The style is game & minuature literal, with a touch of special effects and animation. I think it's well done. The 3D view of minatures and game board *feels* good. And going light on the animations, but doing them well shows good visual direction IMO. (And the non-3D effects, like lightning or warlock's mark -- interface nicely)

UI: Rough. Workable, but very rough. Holding for 3 second to skip a turn. Looking away when you've got a card in hand and then it instantly casting as a result. Turning your hand to show cards sometimes just glitching and not working. Picking cards from a full hand sometimes being quite difficult. Making it difficult to get info on your own character (e.g. their health) when it's your turn [secret: you can physically touch the minature for this]. And no in-game way of looking up things like blast radius or "what does overcharge do". ---- There are also some stylistic choices like the (IMO) interminably long wait for every die roll to finish that some may like and that may make more sense in a multi-player environment where the game becomes a background for socialization rather than a focus itself.

Multiplayer: Unkown. I didn't try this in multiplayer. If it works well it may be a place that it shines. As the many boardgames are meant to be a backdrop for socialization. But I haven't tried it and so can't review.

### 2/5 — Let’s write all over the map.

*2025-07-22, version 1.39.1*

This game used to be good till the brats ruined it.

### 4/5 — Great Game

*2025-06-14, version 1.39.0*

This is a really great game, and the developers are constantly updating it. The mechanics are interesting. And are being kept up to date. For all that, or because of that, it does regularly have some serious bugs, such as failing to start, or at one time my dice roll would freeze the game and force me to restart. The good mechanics and great design keeps me com ing back.

### 4/5 — Great Game

*2025-05-20*

I am happy to see that there is some innovative gameplay in this, but it comes at the cost of not just a high price, but also some minor mechanics that don’t work too well. Even tho the tutorial explains a lot, there’s still room for improvement in navigating around. The menu constantly closes if you don’t hold and pinch your finders while trying to get out of a running game.

Theres some things that aren’t ideal, but mostly this is an amazing experience and I am happy to be able to support the developers of this game in this stage. Its far, but not quite there yet. Gameplay feels imbalanced most of the time. Your opponents catch up incredibly fast making it a „being trapped“ scenario really fast, no matter what map you choose. Theres no difficulty sliders whatsoever (or did I just not find it?) I really don’t feel like having to loose 20 games before I have earned enough XP to … yeah, I don’t really know what I am earning XP for actually.

There should be a clear indicator that I can turn off the basement when I first start the game, I just randomly came across this setting and it boosted my gameplay experience by 100x.

Anyways, I will keep continue playing this, even tho I loose every time and hope that you can focus a bit more on early game development, balance, hints for team setups, some advanced mechanics in team setup to make this a bit more immersive in the gameplay itself and not just the platform its running on.

With that being said, I can highly recommend this for everyone with a Vision Pro who tries to see what’s capable with the tech and forget about time in this beautifully looking game with a bright future ahead.

### 3/5 — No Apple Pencil support?

*2025-05-19, version 1.38.0*

New update “improves input”, but still doesn’t support Apple Pencil. Come on guys, how hard can it be? Even basic apps support it. This game is fun, I played it on Quest, loved it, and would love it even more on iOS if I could play without have to have my hand cover up the screen while I played.

### 4/5 — AAA Spiel auf der Apple Vision Pro

*2025-05-13*

Super!

### 4/5 — Bad controls

*2025-05-02*

Update: The latest update fixes most of my complaints, updated to 4 stars. It took ten months to get its first update. Hope they keep improving

This would be a lot of fun if the terrible hand tracking controls didn’t get in the way. Have there been any updates since release? Please fix the unresponsive and inaccurate controls.

### 3/5 — I love this game, but the visionOS version needs a lot of work

*2025-04-25*

Demeo is a ton of fun on any platform. My friends and I love it. However, the visionOS version needs a lot of work. The hand menus are just a pain to use. It is constantly flashing the cards open and close while my hands rest in my lap. Selecting a tile is way harder than it should be. Even picking up the dice can be a pain.

### 5/5 — Demeo is great now

*2025-04-14, version 1.37.1*

the most recent update is a huge improvement, great work! Love the game on quest, psvr2 and didn’t think the initial VP version did the game justice.

I think it’s become my favourite version, it now looks super clear and crisp, the card artwork looks stunning and the direct manipulation of your characters works well and is surprisingly immersive.

Camera movement can be a bit jumpy particularly the one handed gesture but the two handed movement works well enough.

👍👍👍👍

### 5/5 — New update amazing

*2025-04-12*

Great game. Graphics are finally updated to take advantage of Vision Pro better. Plus you have AR mode now, so you can play in your real environment! Hand controllers are pretty solid, and is a treat to play this with others.

### 5/5 — Love the update

*2025-04-10, version 1.37.0*

The graphics are much better. It’s not more playable. A lot of fun.

### 1/5 — PS VR2 sense support please!!!

*2025-11-12, version 1.41.0*

Please update it to allow us to play using PS VR2 sense controllers!!

### 1/5 — It stops working

*2025-11-01, version 1.40.2*

It was the best release, better than Quest and Pcvr but right now it stopped working.

### 1/5 — Does not work with Apple Vision Pro

*2025-08-04*

I have tried to run this numerous times unfortunately it doesn't well on the Apple Vision Pro. It actually continuously crashes on me during the tutorial. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it and restarted it numerous times as well as restarting the vision pro as well. And this is incredibly disappointing especially for the price point. I will be reaching out to the team to see if I can get a refund as this is unusable

### 1/5 — Good game, awful port, no updates to fix fatal flaws.

*2025-02-09*

Edit: Lowering to one star because it’s been months and the resolution has not been fixed. This game is unplayable this blurry.

I really want to like this game. The mechanics are quite good, it’s fun, it’s not a tech demo. Unfortunately, the Vision Pro version feels like a complete afterthought. There are two modes, immersive and 2D. The 2D mode offers no advantages compared to an iPad app. The immersive mode only supports full immersion without passthrough, and more importantly it is very, very blurry. I think the issue is that the resolution is too low and not anything with the assets themselves, because if you get close to things, they look alright. But from a comfortable viewing distance, it feels like I need glasses badly in a way that I haven’t seen in other games - or even the main menu which is in passthrough!

Adding insult to injury, the hand gestures are very finicky in how they handle moving around the virtual space, to the point that I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are playing in a room with a large enough open space that you can just walk freely around the table.

If the resolution and hand gesture controls were improved, I would probably rate this a 4/5. If it had passthrough in addition to those, it would be an easy 5/5. But the technical issues make it very hard to recommend this to anyone.

### 1/5 — Fun game but crashes every 30 seconds

*2025-01-05, version 1.36.0*

Great game on the Oculus so I downloaded to my iPad. It crashes so often, it’s almost comical. I don’t recommend purchasing for the iPad until they fix these bugs. I really enjoy the game but it’s too frustrating with the constant crashes to even slightly enjoy.

*2024-09-22, version 1.36.0*

### 5/5 — The tutorial gives much promise

*2025-10-12*

I had avoided this game initially because there were reports that the quality of the graphics and animation were low. This is no longer the case. I just played the tutorial and I’m really excited about what the rest of this game holds.

### 5/5 — Korean font issue — text appears broken or unreadable in Demeo

*2025-10-08, version 1.40.0*

Hello,

When playing Demeo, I’ve noticed that Korean text (and possibly other non-Latin languages) appears broken or displays as unreadable symbols in the game. It seems like the font used does not support Korean characters properly.

Could you please check if there’s a fix or update planned to support Korean (and other languages) without font issues?

Thank you for your help.

### 5/5 — bug

*2025-10-02, version 1.39.1*

### 5/5 — Current version rocks!

*2025-07-22, version 1.39.1*

### 5/5 — Finally the best standalone version of one XR’s best games EVER

*2025-05-28*

DEMEO has always been one of my favorite XR games. When it launched on Vision Pro I was disappointed because it didn’t offer a real MR mode. But after updating all the shaders to reality kit and the use of the foveated rendering, is now the best version available on standalone headsets. I hope that the will include the Heroes’ Hangout mode soon. Although I get that there are almost no gamers on Vision Pro yet. Great job Resolution Games!

### 5/5 — Jetzt ist Demeo ein dichtes Vision Pro Game!

*2025-05-25*

Auf der Vision Pro ist Demeo THE WAY to play. MUST HAVE für AVP Besitzerinnen und Besitzer! Natürlich Crossplay mit anderen Plattformen!
