Once again, I am fooled into downloading some hack Chinese mobile game which I think will provide even a quark of entertainment; how was I wrong. The game makes sure to check for a connection before launching. A connection. For a single-player game. Unheard of, right? This in tow: every two minutes of gameplay is interrupted by an ad that makes you watch for at least ten seconds before allowing you to skip, and I’m not even exaggerating there. Loading even more ads causes the game to chop frames for every little movement that you make, causing even slower progression than what would already be considered “slow”. And what’s real upsetting about this whole thing his that there was actually *some* potential in the game, but alas, greed prevents any venture into the realm of decency. ### 1/5 — Gave me a virus (DO NOT DOWNLOAD) *2022-08-26* I downloaded this app about 15 minutes before my phone shut down and stopped working. I like it, it feels satisfying to play, and it fills the role of “I need a game to play while I’m taking a dump” pretty well. My only issue is that the ad at the bottom of the screen ends up covering up some UI elements. When you go to upgrade your truck’s capacity or speed, the ad at the bottom prevents you from clicking on the upgrade tab to switch over to that selection. I get it, the devs gotta eat, but would you at least move the ad out of the way while I’m buying stuff?
