### 1/5 — Not a good replacement for Hyttebetaling

The new DNT app replaces the old „hyttebetaling“ App. Unfortunately the change happened without prenotification during a ski tour in February and our cabins were not selectable in the DNT app, the old app stopped working. Now the Kongsberg cabins are selectable but I’m not able to fulfil a payment for our stays. The form after selecting the dates jumps away when I try to close the keyboard after I filled in the protocol number. In rare cases it works but for some reason my own person is automatically classified as „barn 0-13“, I can’t change that. Adding more persons is also difficult as the keyboard hides important parts of the form. I sense, the app was not fully tested, the old app was way easier to use and it worked. I will skip using the app for now and will just transfer the amount of money directly to the DNT Kongsberg and send them an email with our dates. I hope the app will become much better in the near future otherwise there might be hikers who skip the whole payment and this is probably not what DNT wants.

Terrible app, unable to log in. Yet the functionality intended for the app is so simple a child could code and test it. 

DNT and the developer should hang their heads in shame.
