## What is DenkLaut?

Walk. Think out loud. Forget nothing.

DenkLaut captures spoken thoughts without sending them to a transcription service. Start a voice note, stop it when you are done, and keep talking while previous thoughts are processed one after another on your iPhone.

During setup, you download the required speech model and tokenizer once (about 649 MB). After that, recordings and transcription are processed locally on your iPhone.

The Apple Watch companion app lets you capture audio and choose a folder while you are on the move. Audio remains protected on the Watch until the paired iPhone confirms the transfer. Transcription happens only on the iPhone.
