It took my about 4 month to get ready for this exam pretty much only using the mastery. Personally I liked more using the app from my computer but it was also great to have the option to have it to go on my phone. Awesome that they integrate the mental dental videos because to tell you the truth that make the app more than enough to get ready for your test. I study about 30 hours a week ( 4 hours each day during the week, 8 hours a Saturday ). The last week prior the exam maybe 6 hours each day. I know everyone work different but I think that was more than enough. The only feedback I would give is that it will be more helpful if the explanations had more images, besides that, this is an amazing resource that allows you to recap on all your knowledge in a really organized way. Also loved the fact that each topic had some of the questions multiple times what allowed me to memorize better the information. The information if súper well organized by topic which I think helps a lot to study in a more efficient way. This app was totally worth it. Extremely frustrating, I tried to deal with it but cancelled my subscription today because it just doesn’t make sense. The app on iPhone, ipad, and the website are all super glitchy. It repeats all these questions and wasn’t marking my progress. Then, It deleted all my progress when I’m on the last 50 questions. No good structure to the app. It Doesn’t tie in the mental dental videos well. There are no pictures really. The explanations are pretty bad most of the times. Especially when students (via the comments section) are the ones identifying the errors. It makes the app feel unreliable as a source- especially when it comes to an exam as important as boards. In my account there is no place for customer support, I also looked in my settings and clicked on “edit subscription” but it has no link to customer support or changing settings, it only allows more purchases. I had initially considered using it again after graduation because of the other resources but I have definitely decided against that. I have other study apps, they ended at the 3 month mark just as planned without hidden renewals. I saw a bunch of things online but I wanted to keep it simple and it paid off. I definitely recommend this app!! I started badly at around 60% (percentage of correct questions in the app) and improved with time (in the end I had a 90%). I also recommend to answer as many questions as possible per day (I was doing around 200) so that you get used to the style.
