I am using the three other big study guides and used this just to top off everything i’ve learned since my exam is in two weeks. But it ended up being less helpful to use this app as a supplemental source, I have to google almost every question because they are things i’ve never heard of as years of being a hygiene student and months of using the other three reviews. Its odd that the questions here are so far from all the questions used in the other board reviews. Unlike the other board review companies, I think this one was probably made by someone who isn’t actual in the dental hygiene field or hasn’t been a DH student because its not really going off of the NBDHE guidelines. ### 3/5 — It’s okay I guess.. *2018-03-11* Good It is a easy and fast way to review material you may have forgotten. Gives explanations for each question. Bad Not very many questions. They are pretty easy to guess, also. Sometimes when you select an answer and are about to submit it changes your answer and then you get it wrong. Also, some of the questions are poorly written, like the person who wrote them doesn't have DH knowledge. But there are some question that I doubt will be on the exam~ i do like that they give thorough explanation on the correct and incorrect answers! It is a complete waste of time and money. The questions are so difficult that even the most intelligent individuals would struggle to answer them. What's the point of having an app that is impossible to use? It's frustrating and demotivating to spend hours trying to answer a single question, only to end up with no progress. The lack of variety in the questions is also disappointing. It seems like the same handful of questions are recycled over and over again. Overall, I would not recommend this to anyone. It will only make you feel like a loser. Try other sources and refrain yourself from getting confused. ### 1/5 — Subscription *2020-02-29* Bought the monthly subscription for 1 month and it won’t let me access any more questions than the free trial. Called customer service and the message went straight to “everyone is helping someone please try again” and it hung up on me. I had to use my phone and ipad to alternate so i can utilize the free trial! Then i got charged for a three month subscription! I only used the app for 1 day and quit as a result and now i am paying for 3 months. I would like my money back. ### 1/5 — Not worth it *2019-04-26* So this review is coming from someone who has taken the NBDHE 2019, you’ll find numerous amount of repeat questions, also some questions are even wrong so this app does need a lot of work. I now paid for the full version and it's terrible! It is not working correctly at all. I'm getting duplicate answer choices and when it gives the option to view the whole text or a picture the same case study shows up so I cannot even answer the question. Please fix! ### 1/5 — So frustrated *2016-04-07, version 3.15* I paid $30 for this app, incorrect spelling, questions that don't make sense, and now repeat answers and questions/answers that contradict themselves! Would be a great app if they fixed this, way better layout and structure than the other apps out there. You have the ability to study by category and to mark selections by "know" "somewhat know" and "don't know" ### 2/5 — You need more things than this to prepare *2023-04-08* Most of the questions of the test were very different and harder than the questions in the app. I just finished taken the NBDHE and I have the feeling this app wasn’t nearly enough to prepare it. Very difficult questions, tons of medications and Dentist level exam. I would expect more from an app that costs so much. I am constantly checking for fact errors now. It gives me the same answers twice, so I have to check them both or I get the question wrong and it makes it much more difficult to read. It worked properly when I first downloaded it, I'm not sure what happened. I liked how it not only explains the right answer but each wrong answer as well. There were over 1,000 questions on the extended version so I was happy I purchased it. I answered every question until at least each category was over 80%.
