This app has the worst payment system ever and has caused me to loose more money than needed! This is because when you go into the app to pay off your payment plan you can either choose from two options; that being to pay off the total remaining balance in whole OR to pay off a custom amount that is deducted from the total remaining balance but NOT from the payment that is due!! And THIS is where my issue begins as I’ve consistently been having problems with the direct debit system, thus causing for my initial payment to then BECOME overdue as I am unable to manually and automatically transfer the payment - due to the horrible design of this app, THUS making me incur an overdue fee!! I’ve already discussed this issue with the DentiCare customer service team(s) on multiple occasions and have been unable to resolve this issue since. Incredibly Unhappy. ### 1/5 — Useless app *2026-02-05* The app is actually useless. It’s difficult to sign into. It’s ridiculous that you need to sign into it every time you open it on your phone. ### 1/5 — Do not do use DentiCare *2025-09-12* Do Not Use DentiCare !!!!! They are an absolute scam, they rip off their customers. They also process direct debits of almost double the amount with asking for your permission. They are one of the grubbiest companies I have ever seen ### 1/5 — No essential features on the app *2025-02-07* The app only offers a high level review of your currently payment plan. There’s no live chat to help answer questions. Nowhere you can download your MONTHLY health fund payment receipt to claim from insurance. They used to email you every month now they stopped it, but please make sure that customer can download themself at least? It’s kind of useless to be honest. ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2024-05-24* Have been paying my daughters braces via DentiCare for past year and a half. Would be nice if the app actually worked. My name, email and account details are all correct however the app keeps telling me they’re not ….. I can’t even create an account. ### 2/5 — Always logs me out!! *2023-12-09* Why does this app constantly log me out? So annoying that I have to log in every. single. time. I want to use the app! Ridiculous! ### 1/5 — Does not work if you have a hyphen in your name :( *2023-10-12* The app will not let me register, it says ‘incorrect format’ because my name has a hyphen in it, but I can’t register without the hyphen as it doesn’t match my registered plan. Is there any chance you can fix this please? ### 5/5 — Much better app *2023-08-17* The new update has improved this app. Easy to use and manage the payments which is its purpose. Very happy with the update. ### 1/5 — Dodgy company *2023-08-06, version 2.0* I can accept a late fee but this company is ruthless. For example, a late payment was made with the required late fee. An additional $22.00 was attached as a “reprocessing fee”. Then an extra $38.00 reprocessing fee plus a mysterious $3.50 with another outrageous $16.50 reprocessing fee! Crazy greedy and immoral. Also early on I paid manually and didn’t update the automatic payment information so would constantly get voicemail harassment. I decided to ring the company and explained to the lady I was paying manually ie THE ACCOUNT IS BEING PAID and did not think it was right to get a late fee when it wasn’t late. Also the company changed its bank details last year and when money was taken out of my account by a mysterious entity I contacted the bank to cancel my card as it looked like fraud. I then got calls from real people demanding I contact the bank and explain that it’s them. I told the fellow that how do I know that YOU are not a fraud and he scoffed at me. At this time I was bedbound recovering from a bypass which I explained and sure enough while sick and bedridden, the voicemail calls started up again. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2023-05-11* This app is impossible to use, glitches when I open it and won’t let me register for an account despite using the correct email - I have been getting emails from DentiCare for the last year since starting with them, so I know it is correct. This is the same email I gave them and that they have on record. The customer service is awful, I called up to make a payment over the phone and also asked for help setting up the app as it wasn’t letting me log in, after processing the payment she said that there were people waiting on hold so she wouldn’t help me with the app, and that I would have to call back again despite having already waited on hold for half an hour. She wanted me to wait on hold a second time instead of helping me??? They constantly leave me voicemails using the wrong first name, despite my email records showing they have the correct name for me on my payment plan.
