### 4/5 — Trade Him

*2020-01-29, version 7.4.2*

It would be better without Kiel’s

### 3/5 — Need to see more articles; minuscule type

*2017-08-14, version 7.2.11*

The articles are well written, but why can I only see the last five? Also, a change a while back moved to something like 5 point Times New Roman, which is nearly impossible to read.

### 1/5 — Tim

*2017-01-09, version 7.0.0023*

I access it every day, sometimes a few times per day hoping to find some relevant or unique content. For an updated app, it sure is tired and antiquated. A waste of time, really.

### 2/5 — Change the color of the print.

*2017-01-04, version 7.0.0023*

The overall app is great but the light gray color of the print makes it extremely difficult to read. Go back to black print please!!!!

### 1/5 — App won't update

*2017-01-01, version 7.0.0023*

I can only open stories I read three or four days ago--can't refresh to today's stories. Deleting the app now.

### 1/5 — iPad Pro stuck in portrait mode???

*2016-12-24, version 7.0.0023*

You must be kidding, Denver Post! An iPad app that cannot be used in landscape mode! Do you ever test your stuff before release???? The Post continues its long history of butchering user experience.

### 1/5 — Bad update

*2016-12-23, version 7.0.0023*

The updated app only works in portrait mode. Not how I use my iPad.

### 3/5 — Too many ads everywhere

*2016-02-13, version 6.2.6150*

Content is "ok" and I dislike the layout. But the heavy sprinkling of ads is too much given the mediocre quality of the app.

### 3/5 — Ad covers the text

*2015-10-07, version 6.2.6124*

It's been a while now that you have ads covering the text

### 2/5 — Great app, but...

*2015-05-15, version 6.2.65*

can we address the ridiculous font in the latest update? That's the thinnest, greyist font I've ever seen. It's unreadable.
I won't be using this app until it's fixed, so I won't be seeing your ads.

### 1/5 — Overburdened with pictures. Slow.

*2014-09-19, version 6.2.20*

Very slow to load. Stalls when trying to scroll through the headline that are coupled with large pictures. Makes mostly unusable. Get rid of the pictures. Show the picture after a story is selected from just a text listing of the headlines. Until then the app will remains mostly unusable.

### 4/5 — About time

*2014-07-29, version 6.1*

I'm excited that the Denver Post finally got a sports app. It's a little buggy so far so I hope they update it soon. Go Broncos!

### 1/5 — Needs work

*2014-07-25, version 6.1*

This app only opens about a third of the time. It usually gets stuck on the splash screen or crashes.

### 3/5 — Rapids please

*2014-07-06, version 6.0*

Please put the Colorado Rapids in this app.
Thanks.

### 1/5 — Doesn't do Anything

*2014-07-03, version 6.0*

When I open it, I get a great picture of Peyton and nothing else??? What the....?

### 1/5 — Keep getting error message

*2014-01-01, version 4.6.0.0*

Right after last game of season, getting ready for playoffs and can't read a thing

### 1/5 — Page won't load

*2013-12-31, version 4.6.0.0*

Keeps reporting a network error. Been happening for multiple days now. Tried reloading but didn't help.

### 1/5 — Error Message popping up

*2013-12-30, version 4.6.0.0*

App hasn't opened in 2 days. Just another problem with these Denver post apps.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Fire the app programers

*2023-11-01*

The app is horrible. It keeps indicating that you need to subscribe to access stories even when you have a subscription. There is some type of electronic sign-in for automatic sign-in, but it clearly does not work. If they don’t get this fixed, I sure won’t be renewing my subscription! I cannot recommend this app!

### 1/5 — Horrible service

*2021-12-23, version 7.6.1*

Never got access on the app still being charged! Now up to 14.95 Ridiculous. Used to be my favorite newspaper.

### 1/5 — Free to pay us a lot

*2021-05-20, version 7.6.0*

The app went from free constant to needing to pay $180 a year. DELETE!!!!!

### 1/5 — Buh bye

*2021-05-19, version 7.6.0*

Good luck with the new subscription feature. Delete.

### 1/5 — Now the Denver Post charges to read articles

*2021-05-11, version 7.6.0*

I’ve had this app for years and love reading Patrick Saunders articles. I moved to Tennessee last year, and this is the way I keep in touch with my Broncos and Rockies. But now, the DP wants to charge $174 per year to do it, while listing the app as free.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work anymore

*2021-03-08, version 7.5.9*

App doesn’t launch 😔

### 1/5 — Those days are gone

*2020-12-03, version 7.4.5*

I remember reading the sports page page by page and loving the digest that it presented. Today you have to search and accumulate data that you want. Too much hit and miss. I wish those days were available to those who were the old sports buffs. Back then we knew every player in every league. Those were the golden years of the news.

### 1/5 — Shortcomings

*2019-01-27, version 7.3.11*

Need to have a clear, obvious link to sign in!

### 1/5 — Font too small

*2017-08-21, version 7.2.11*

It is a piece of cake to program any app to allow users to increase the font size. And this app has such a setting, but maxes out in a font still way too small to read. Newspapers wine that they are losing business. But then they won't allow older readers to enlarge the font size to a decent level. It would cost the DP nothing to allow larger font sizes. But they risk losing readers ($$$) if they don't. At least make it as big as the NYTimes and Wash Post.

### 1/5 — Shame for soft-porn ads

*2017-03-16, version 7.1.7*

I love the Broncos and use this app to get news. However I am completely offended by how many images you post with half-naked women. It is soft porn, demeaning to women. You truly should be ashamed.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Free and easy

*2020-06-24, version 7.4.5*

Never cost me a cent, so why complain. Although I’d like to see more articles on the Av and the Nuggets, hey, again life is too expensive to not be thankful for the free stuff.

### 5/5 — Feel connected to home

*2014-06-13, version 4.6.0.0*

I don't live in Denver anymore, I still love the Broncos and Broncomania is alive and well in our house. Staying connected to the sports commentary with this ap is wonderful. Thank god for Sunday ticket, this app and the Broncos!

### 5/5 — JWK speaks

*2013-09-23, version 4.6.0.0*

Love the broncos, nuggets and rockies and do not get much coverage in ca.

I use it regularly for local feedback.

*2013-08-04, version 4.4.0.0*
