## What is Depart?

Some dates deserve better than a calendar entry.

Depart turns everything you're waiting for into an airport departures board. Set a date, name the place, and watch the split-flap counter roll — on your Home Screen, on your Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island.

A holiday. A wedding. A due date. A last day at work. The board doesn't care what it is — it gives every date the same treatment an airport gives a departure: a destination, a three-letter code, and a clock that keeps moving whether you're looking or not.

BUILT LIKE A REAL BOARD

Every countdown gets a boarding-pass card: perforated edge, barcode, a stub with the details, and a counter that flips character by character. Tilt your phone and the card catches the light.

Nine board styles, from classic amber to Mercury's pale card stock. Choose one during setup and it's yours to keep.

THINGS THAT ACTUALLY COME UP

• Plans move. Postpone a countdown and it keeps the original date on record, so
  "originally the 14th" stays true however many times it shifts.
• Plans repeat. Birthdays and anniversaries roll to next year by themselves.
• Plans fall through. Cancel a countdown and it stops counting and stops reminding you, without being deleted.
• Import from your calendar instead of typing it twice.
• Share a card of any countdown — no watermark, no account, no sign-up.

NO ACCOUNT, NO TRACKING

Depart has no login and no analytics. Your countdowns are on your device. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to opt out of.
