Search by city name — type "Toronto" and Departa finds YYZ, YTZ, and nearby airports automatically. Select your departure and arrival and see all available flights for the day. Available on Core and Premium. Airport Database Departa now includes a built-in database of over 12,800 airports worldwide. Search by city name, airport name, or IATA code. City not found? The app tells you and suggests entering the airport code directly. No internet connection required for airport lookups. Flight Reliability Intelligence (Premium) Before you board, know your flight's track record. See the historical on-time percentage, average delay in minutes, and cancellation rate for any flight — powered by real statistical data. Make informed decisions about which flights to book or when to leave for the airport. Airport Delay Index (Premium) See whether your departure airport is running smoothly or experiencing delays right now. A real-time delay score shows whether conditions are normal, moderately delayed, or heavily disrupted — so you know what to expect before you leave home. Flight Operating Dates (Core and Premium) Not sure if your flight runs on a particular day? Departa now shows you the next 14 days the flight is scheduled to operate. Tap any date to instantly search that departure. Improved Flight Map The flight map now shows the great circle route between departure and arrival airports with a gold dashed line, departure and arrival markers, and live aircraft position when available. When live position data is unavailable the aircraft icon shows an estimated position along the route. Smarter Search Search results are faster thanks to a 48-hour server-side cache shared across users. If another Departa user already searched your flight, your result loads instantly with zero API calls. Free users get 4 AeroDataBox searches per day for today's flights, plus live tracking for any currently airborne flight via OpenSky.
