## What is Depo?

Depo gives you one number: what you can safely spend today. No bank login. No account linking. Your numbers, not your credentials.

Add your income, essential bills, and savings target. Depo turns what is left into a daily amount you can use without opening a spreadsheet or building a complicated system. Works whether your income is a steady paycheck or changes week to week — freelance, gig work, or anything in between.

HOW IT WORKS
Spend less than today's number and the rest rolls into tomorrow.
Spend more and tomorrow adjusts. Red is not a verdict. It is just the current number.

WHAT YOU GET
— A daily safe-to-spend amount, recalculated automatically
— Bill planning that keeps essentials out of your daily number
— A neutral no-spend-day stat, if you want it
— History that shows what happened, without a lecture
— No bank login or account linking

DEPO+
— iCloud sync across your devices
— Unlimited history
— Net worth, including debts, in one clear view
— Net worth changes over time
— Spending trends and category breakdowns
— Home screen widgets
— Import and export your data
— Custom app icons and appearance
— Personal bests based only on your own past
— And more. There's always more to see.

Built for people with ADHD, people who hate spreadsheets, people who have tried budgeting before, freelancers and gig workers with income that moves, and anyone who wants a clear answer in a few seconds.

Depo does not manage you. It makes the number clear.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2.2 — 2026-08-28

New
- Can I Afford It? — Purchase simulator on the Budget page that classifies a planned purchase as comfortable, tight, or unsafe based on its impact on your daily budget

Improved
- Stats: fairer trend comparisons — When viewing a partial period (e.g. mid-month), the previous period is now truncated to the same elapsed length, so current spending is no longer artificially lower just because the month isn't over yet.
- Stats: accurate "Within Your Number" — This card now always reflects the full calendar month regardless of the selected range tab (Week/Custom no longer hide the rest of the month's expenses).
- Recap banner: explicit dismiss — Added an X button so you can dismiss the recap banner without opening the recap. Dismissal is permanent (same as viewing it).

Fixed
- Budget rollover across midnight — Expenses logged right after a month rollover while the app stayed foregrounded were being misfiled into the previous month, breaking the "Carry over" calculation. The current month is now re-resolved at the moment an expense is saved.
- Monthly recap notification timing — The monthly recap notification was firing on the last day of the month, before the recap actually existed. It now fires on the 1st of the following month, after the month has ended.
- Other bug fixes.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-08-11

- Daily budget now shows correctly in the budget section
- Budget numbers entered during re-onboarding now stick
- Fixed "at this rate" and spent more/less logic for new months or when there's no transaction history yet — now correctly shows "not enough data" instead of a misleading number
- Plus a handful of smaller fixes.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-08

What's new

- Fixed the ruble sign. It was wrong. Now it's not.
- Keyboard now closes when you add a transaction, instead of just sitting there.
- Onboarding is cleaner. Fewer steps standing between you and tracking your money.
- Lock screen widget works again.
- A handful of other small bugs, fixed.
