And shipped the items right away. But receiving the money after the fact has taken so long, it’s really discouraging. It takes x amount of time to get to the customer. And then 2 days after they receive it you get it on your Depop balance. And in order to deposit it to my bank account, it takes another 5 days. That’s about 2 weeks after the sale. I don’t know why, but that seems crazy to me. ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2026-08-24, version 2.408* I initially liked Depop, especially with how easy it was to speak to sellers. But then one day my account was suspended for literally no reason. I hadn’t even sold anything on the app and only purchased a few monster high dolls. I emailed the support team to try and get answers and potentially get my account back. Not only have I been ghosted by them, but when they did respond they’d just endlessly ask me for information I already gave them. They sounded like a broken record and no matter what I did they wouldn’t help me. Maybe 10% of purchases won’t turn into regrets with misleading listings and terrible sellers. Maybe the fact that this app said that my first order was going to have free shipping then I had to pay for shipping. Is what it is I just paid for it. Of course they have to add in their marketplace fees too. Huge joke there. Just taking even more advantage of people both on the buying and selling side. I had an issue with an order that I placed and tried to raise an issue with DEPOP to get the issue resolved in which they would not help me and just asked me to reach out to the seller instead. Seller ghosted me and would not respond back and after the allotted time I had to wait to be able to escalate the issue with DEPOP now I am waiting even more time for customer service to look into the issue and even though the item has still never shipped they are allowing the seller another couple weeks before they do anything about it. In the meantime I am out over $600. For example, right now you can’t even copy posts. Is not user friendly for sellers due to all the random bugs. I am not able to even change my email without the verification link failing, and customer support is next to useless in actually fixing the issue. The one order I placed on this app, the seller was not able to ship it. I have not encountered such a terrible experience with any other shopping app I use, like Mercari or Vinted. The customer service is very slow and does not answer the questions you have very well. They are holding $60 from me and will not give it to me.
