## What is Deposit Shield?

Get your security deposit back.

Deposit Shield walks you through your rental room by room, item by item. Rate each wall, floor, appliance and fixture, snap date-stamped photos, add notes, and export a professional condition report in seconds. At move-out, compare every item side by side with how it looked on day one.

WHY RENTERS USE IT
• Most deposit disputes come down to "prove it." Now you can.
• Guided checklists mean nothing gets missed — 13 room templates with 90+ common items.
• Every photo is stamped with its capture date and time.
• Signatures from you and your landlord right on the report.

MOVE-IN
• Pick your rooms (with any number of bedrooms and bathrooms)
• Rate each item from Like new to Damaged
• Photograph with the camera or pick from your library
• Add notes like "2-inch scuff left of light switch"

MOVE-OUT & COMPARISON
• Start a move-out inspection with the same rooms and items, automatically
• See exactly what changed: Same, Better, or Worse
• Side-by-side before-and-after photos for any item

THE REPORT
• Clean, branded PDF with cover summary, every room, every photo and signatures
• Share by email, Messages, AirDrop or save to Files
• Option to leave photos out for a smaller file

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no sign-up
• Everything stays on your iPhone — nothing is uploaded
• Delete everything with one tap

ALSO INCLUDED
• Mid-lease checks for repairs, leaks and landlord visits
• Renter's playbook: practical habits that protect your deposit
• Dark Mode, Dynamic Type and VoiceOver support
