Definitions of new words are in German, also with all of the content on the pages, so one does have to know the basics of German to get started. However, it is awesome for people who are wanting to broaden their knowledge of both grammar and daily topics. Only 4 stars as the drag-and-drop feature is fairly frustrating and transitions between topics and the main page are fairly clunky. But a little gem of an app!! The modules are effortlessly short, and the bite-sized learnings really stick. When my friends open Insta, I do a quick 4 min module. …or while waiting for the bus, or waiting for my coffee… you get the idea.
