I wished it would help to learn also de plurals and maybe the declinations of the articles but it’s enough with knowing the basic genre of sustantives

Decent app with 2 weaknesses: awful repetitive music and a bug that does not complete a section despite everything correctly answered multiple times (29 words - 122 correct answers… just stop from boredom!)

First of all, thank you for figuring out these rules and sharing.  This would have been a game changer for me way back in the day.  
I’d like to see some options in the app to help me learn the rules, before getting to the “levels” you presently offer.  
Something along the lines of a level where you’re testing the der words that follow the rule, the die words that follow the rule, and then das.  
Then a level where rule-following der, die, das words are all mixed up.  
After that, I would add in non-rule following for der words, die words, etc.  
Until finally, you mix them all up.

I bought the book and paid for the upgraded app. I’m not really loving either. The explanations aren’t very good, and it’s not always clear how the rule relates to an item guessed wrong on the app. The word lists are full of exceptions that make the “rules”seem more like guesswork based on loose patterns and statistical likelihood. It seems like progress is less a matter of learning rules and patterns and applying them and more a matter of learning each individual word through trial and error. The app is proving to be a very frustrating experience and not much fun to use despite the attractive graphics. If I’m being honest, I don’t believe this approach has really succeeded in “cracking the code”of gender in German. It’s just providing a more focused, gamified opportunity to practice memorizing nouns with their articles the old fashioned way. Also, if you buy the book, the app should be free as a supplement.

Great concept, but on Stage 2 I kept getting ads mid-game, without getting an answer wrong first. The game continues, and you „lose“ in the background. Unplayable.

The best app I have found to learn vocabulary and the articles by themes. 
Some people complain about the adds. But there aren’t that many. And the premium version only cost 2,99€. Most other apps I have tried where more expensive. This app also contains grammar rules regarding the articles der, die, das. Great app!

This app is very good- I might get the Premium (very cheap) but there is lots hidden without it. It is very helpful with learning new Vocabulary. Overall I think this app could improve if they let you add your own words but anyways it is so fun.

Es hilft gar nichts viel Grammatik zu können, wenn man die Artikel nicht kennt. Meine Fehlerquote ist kleiner geworden, seit ich mit der App spiele. Das hätte niemand von mir erwartet, noch nicht Mal ich! Gut… ich vergesse nach eine Weile immer alles und muss wieder lernen, aber wir wissen alle: Das Leben ist hart und Deutsch zu lernen mehr 😊

Ab einem bestimmt Level kommt man nicht mehr weiter. Es wird ein Wort eingeblendet, das man nicht erraten hat und es wird als falsch angezeigt und man wird weitergeleitet, um Premium zu abonnieren. So nicht!

Had high hopes for this. Very disappointed. Even after purchasing this, every time I missed a word I had to watch an ad. Incredibly annoying. To remove the ads it requires an in app purchase. Dont waste your money on this app.

It gives you the rule why it is spelled with der/die/das at the end. In my preference it would be better first to teach the kids the rule and then test them.

I paid for the full version but the levels won’t unlock - despite me completing sometimes over 300 correct answers in a row before I got completely bored. So even though I paid for it I can’t access much more than the free version.

Edit:  right now I keep running into a lot of bugs. It won’t pass me on a level, even though I’ve done 200 correctly in a row.  Sometimes it’s stopping and making me start over when I didn’t make a mistake.  I’m finding it very frustrating.

Ce jeu éducatif est très bien conçu, mais il y a juste de la publicité à chaque fin de vidéo partie. Pour ce qui veulent, vous pouvez acheter la version premuim pour 3 € à vie. Ce qui n’est pas très cher.

I’ve been learning German for over a year and had the book. I came across the app and got that too.
This is a great way to learn vocabulary and gender at the same time.
Give yourself ten minutes a day every day as a challenge. I cannot emphasise what a great learning tool this app is. Get it!!

Memorizing articles has always been such a pain for me. I was really happy to stumble upon this app because it has been great for practice. I even ordered the book for the additional help and explanations. Only critique is that topics don’t seem to complete? I have one completed, but others where I have high scores of 100 still don’t say complete. I still have no clue how the other one got marked as complete.
