Seven new ways to practise, and a word list read end to end. NEW MODES Plural Trainer — one or many? Pick the plural from four endings the word could plausibly have taken. Sentence Builder — put a scrambled sentence back in order and get German word order under your fingers. It starts easy and gives away less as you improve. Word Speller — build the word from its meaning, letter by letter, and pick its article. Umlauts and all. Dialogue — build a question, then the reply that follows it. Every exchange is an everyday phrase you would actually say: where the nearest pharmacy is, when dinner is ready. Vocabulary — der Löwe, and four meanings. Or "lion", and four words. Both directions, because knowing one does not mean knowing the other. Adjective Endings — roter, rote or rotes? The ending moves with the article, the case and the gender. Pick the one the sentence needs. Mixed Round — a bit of everything, and you choose what goes in. WHILE YOU PLAY Stuck? Take a hint. Sure you were right? Say so — German allows orders we do not know about, and you get the final say. A wrong sentence or spelling can be tried twice, and a rejected spelling now tells you what was wrong with it. Leave in the middle of a round and come back to it. Every mode keeps its place when you close the app. Report a word or a sentence that reads wrong, from wherever you found it. RESULTS AND STATISTICS Every round now ends the same way: the XP it earned, how it moved your daily goal, and every word you answered with what you picked next to what was right. Streak Survival ends there too, instead of on a screen of its own. Statistics counts each mode separately, so you can see what you have actually been practising. THE WORDS THEMSELVES All 3,000 words were read again, one level at a time. 126 example sentences were teaching the wrong article and have been rebuilt. 215 sentences nobody would say were replaced. 403 translations were corrected. The conversations were rewritten to sound like conversations. The word library now searches by meaning as well as by German spelling, and each row shows what the word means. EVERYWHERE ELSE A home screen built around the mode worth playing next, with the rest a tap away. The round you already know is now called Article Trainer, after the question it asks. Every screen grows with your text size, up to the largest accessibility setting. On Apple Watch an answer sent twice is no longer counted twice, and a word that arrives mid-round now reaches the round that is running.
