## What is DermoShelf?

Scan before you buy — in the store or in your cart.

DermoShelf reads a skincare product's ingredient list and tells you whether it's worth buying: a clear verdict — BUY, CAUTION, SKIP FOR NOW or NOT NEEDED — and a Personal Fit Score from 0 to 100.

It is not a universal score. The same product can be a BUY for one person and a CAUTION for another, because the answer depends on your skin and on what is already on your shelf.

IN STORE
- Scan the barcode or photograph the ingredient list and get a verdict in seconds

SHOPPING ONLINE
- Paste a product link from any online store and DermoShelf pulls the ingredient list for you
- Get your verdict before you check out, not after the package arrives
- Compare two links side by side when you cannot decide between them

CHECKED AGAINST YOU, AND YOUR SHELF
- Your skin profile: type, concerns, sensitivities, ingredients you already react to
- Your shelf: the products you already own
- Conflicts — if it clashes with something already in your routine, like retinol against a strong acid, you will know before you pay
- Duplicates — if a product you already own does the same job, we tell you that instead of selling you a second one
- The reasoning, ingredient by ingredient. Every verdict is explained.
