The push notifications made it easy for me to see that my case had been submitted and looked at! I had an answer and meds sent to the pharmacy within 6 hours! The doctor also sent me a message up see if I was getting better. Definitely give this a try! Beats going to the Er or waiting weeks for an appointment. ### 5/5 — Swollen eyes *2018-06-06* I woke up, out of town, with swollen and itchy eyes. This app was recommended to me so I downloaded it and found the steps easy to follow. I completed the questionnaire and sent 3 pictures of my face. The doctor was able to correctly recognize the condition as an allergic reaction. The medication prescribed cured my condition. This saved me a trip to a clinic or emergency room. ### 5/5 — Super convenient and easy to use *2018-06-06* This app was very easy to use and took no time at all to answer the questions and send pics. I used this app to successfully treat a nail fungus that I was unable to get rid of previously. I had tried multiple over the counter meds as well as prescription meds through another derm with no luck and it was always a hassle to get an appt. This was SO much more convenient and simple! Very straightforward treatment and messages from Dr. Dintman. The messages can also be sent to your email address, which was helpful. Will use again! ### 5/5 — So convenient and so fast! *2018-06-05* I downloaded DermUtopia to my phone and with a few clicks, I had a case submitted for a board-certified dermatologist to see me. Within less than 2 days, I got a response from Dr. Dintiman, with a diagnosis and treatment plan, as well as suggestions to improve my skin condition. The app is easy to use, very thorough in asking patient history, and allows you to take pictures of your skin condition so you don’t even need to leave your home (which was the best part in my opinion). Highly recommend for those who hate waiting in a room for hours or live far from your derm’s office! Convenience, convenience, convenience and Dr. D is super thorough (in fact, more so than when i have actually visited other dermatologists in their office). She’ll ask you what she needs to know to make sure you’re getting treated correctly. ### 5/5 — Great app *2018-06-03* This app is a total lifesaver! With this App I can continue to work hard and play hard without wasting a weekend traveling to an appointment. ### 5/5 — Quick and easy to use *2015-07-22, version 1.2.1* The app is great. I have used it on several occasions. The first time I was traveling and my husband got a crazy rash and was able to figure out it wasn't serious and we could continue on our trip without worrying. The second time I got a rash and didn't have time to see the doctor so I uploaded the picture to the app. Luckily it was addressed right away, it turns out I had shingles and a quick diagnosis saved me lots of pain in the long run. I highly recommend trying Dermutopia. ### 5/5 — The future of dermatology! *2015-07-21, version 1.2.1* I'm the type of guy who works 50-60 hours per week and dreads having to go to a doctor appointment in the middle of a work day. A couple of weeks ago, I had a major allergic reaction that resulted in an itchy rash. I tried over the counter medicine for a quick fix which ended up not being strong enough. I had heard a lot about telemedicine in the news recently so I decided to give it a try instead of rearranging my schedule to see a doctor. After a few minutes, a few pictures, and a few questions, I was able to submit my info from my iPhone. A doctor read through everything, diagnosed the rash, and sent a prescription to my local pharmacy. It was so easy and convenient! I would highly recommend trying the app if you ever have a situation like mine! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Scammy *2023-03-21* I used this app for a few years but the service has recently gone downhill. The most recent time I used this, the doctor tried to upsell me and when I didn’t buy additional products and services (because I can’t afford them), she kept my $90 and refused to provide the treatment I paid for. ### 1/5 — Not worth the money. *2020-09-23, version 1.2.17* App is super convenient and easy to use. Received a response within 2 days, however, it was NOT a thorough response at all. Waste of my $69. ### 2/5 — Still loading.... *2020-05-07* I downloaded this app. Thinking it would be easy and a great way to get a dermatologist consultation. This app. Has been synchronizing my data for the past half hour and even when I do shut down and start over, it just does the same loading until god knows when. Dr. Dintiman responds within 2 days and you can have a prescription within 24 hours.
