Dertli is a community space where you can pour your heart out and connect with souls who listen to you.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?
• Express yourself: Write your worries, thoughts, or feelings. Share publicly or only with approved “companions.”
• Be a companion: Send a request to become a companion to read a full post and comment; if approved, you can view and respond.
• Discover: Explore souls and posts through tags and search. See the most popular tags and most engaging posts from the last 24 hours.
• Show support: Strengthen posts and comments with support. Notice with “Someone is thinking of you” notifications.

• No login required: Browse anytime; login only to post or comment.
• Private or public posts: Full text can be visible only to you and approved companions, or shared publicly.
• Listen-only mode: Share posts closed to comments, accepting support only.
• Profile & story: Username, name, profile photo; posts, replies, and companions all in one place.

Post visibility (one-way)
A post that was originally created as private can now be switched to public from the post edit screen via “Make Public”.
Public posts cannot be switched back to private from the edit screen (intentional product decision).
Profile photo removal
A “Delete” action was added to the profile edit screen.
When the user taps “Delete”, the photo is removed immediately in the UI (placeholder is shown).
Permanent removal happens only when the user taps “Save”:
The avatar file is deleted from storage.
The profile_photo_url field is updated to null in the database.
“How are you today?” frequency
Daily prompting has been removed.
The mood prompt is now shown again only after at least 7 days have passed since the user’s last response.
