## What is Deshelved?

Deshelved keeps your board game collection, your play history and your game nights in one place.

YOUR COLLECTION, IN YOUR POCKET
Add the games you own in seconds, or import your whole shelf from BoardGameGeek in one step — complexity, ratings and player counts come with it. Filter by how many people are coming, how long you have, or what kind of game you fancy, and see which games BoardGameGeek's community rates as Best or Recommended at that player count, including counts an expansion unlocks.

Share a link to your collection with anyone. They do not need an account to look.

RULEBOOKS AND CHEAT SHEETS
Deshelved finds the rulebook for your games and turns it into a one-page cheat sheet — setup, turn order, and the rules people always argue about. Pull it up at the table and the argument ends in seconds rather than minutes.

LOG WHAT YOU PLAYED
Record each play with scores and who won. Your history builds into stats worth looking at: what actually hits the table, who wins what, and a leaderboard across the people you play with. Import your existing play history from BoardGameGeek and it is all there from day one.

Add people to your crew to share plays and compare stats — entirely opt-in, and off with one switch.

PLAN THE NIGHT
Create an event, share one link, and let everyone answer. Guests do not need an account: they open the link, claim their slot and vote. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.

Pick games from your collection and everyone rates each one Want, OK or Pass. Results stay hidden until a guest has voted, so nobody just follows the crowd.

Leave the date blank and let everyone tap the days they can make. The summary shows which dates suit most of the group, names who is free on each one, and stars the best night. Days you are already booked on for another event are marked, so you cannot promise an evening twice — and if your free days depend on which group is playing, any event can have its own availability instead of your general one.

FREE
Deshelved is free. No advertisements, no subscription, no selling your data.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.64 — 2026-10-03

Tips that show you around, and a clearer BoardGameGeek sign-up

• Dots point out controls worth knowing, and a meeple shares a tip now and then. Settings can show tips again.
• Game search also matches names in other languages.
• Shared scoresheets: decline an offered seat, or pick one up on another device.
• Sign-up explains BoardGameGeek usernames and checks the name exists.
• On iPhone, Add to calendar opens the calendar sheet. Button text is easier to read.

### 1.63 — 2026-09-29

Sign-in fixed on iPhone, and crew plays saved for you

• Sign in with Google and Apple works again on iPhone.
• A new setting saves plays your crew logs with you straight into your own log.
• Settings is grouped into coloured sections, with a side menu on wide screens.
• A household member's collection link now shows the household's shelf.

### 1.62 — 2026-09-27

You stay signed in. Your session now refreshes as you use Deshelved instead of expiring on a timer.

Rulebooks you can trust. Every rulebook is checked before it's kept, the wrong ones have been removed, and you can upload a better version of any that slipped through.

Setup guides build themselves the moment you open one.

### 1.61 — 2026-09-19

Set up a game without reading the rulebook. Pick a game and Deshelved walks you through setting it up, one step at a time, read aloud so your hands stay free.

Ask about the rules without leaving the play you're logging.

Score together on one sheet. Everyone at the table fills in the same scoresheet from their own phone, and scores appear on everyone's in seconds.

Log a play from the game itself, instead of hunting for the play log. Games that are won rather than scored — co-ops, racing games — can be logged as simply won or lost, with no score to invent.

An unfinished play now waits for you. Forget to save it and it's still there next time.
