### 5/5 — Good guidance and info

*2010-03-24, version 0*

Gives lots of info about different aspects of DT, useful guidence for GCSE and A-level coursework and gives demonstrations on how components work. Very easy to use and has interactive revision exercises. Would be good if there were some simulation items (i.e. free-creation of circuits on a breadboard) Overall a good buy for DT students.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — .

*2024-04-22, version 3.0*

Didn’t find it useful at all wouldn’t recommend

### 3/5 — Errors

*2012-09-29, version 2.0*

Overall a good informative app, it covers most over areas of d&t and will be a useful resource. A negative side is the revision section fails to work and constantly says wrong answers which is frustrating when you've paid £1.99 for an app. Please fix this

### 4/5 — Great app

*2024-10-24, version 3.0*

Seems mint so far, would be even better if there was a search bar so I can find everything easier. Other than that it’s what I need.

### 4/5 — Great data, but needs polishing

*2017-01-11, version 2.6.1*

This app is kept regularly updated, and has very helpful notes. Although it's not very polished, (there are a few small errors, but nothing that stops the app functioning) there is some great notes and I'd 100% reccomend this to any GCSE/A-level student doing DT or something similar. The menu system is easy to understand, but there seems to be too many menus, if the menus had broader categories I think the app would be easier to use.

### 4/5 — Hardip

*2011-04-11, version 1.4*

Good but lots of spelling mistakes

### 4/5 — Good stuff

*2011-02-27*

Good quality informative app, liked it,wish there were more similar type apps on other subjects

### 4/5 — Good but needs updating

*2010-12-29, version 1.3*

This app was very useful for when I was revising for my DT gcse however I noticed that the app hadn't been updated/changed for the new syllabus but other than that it had most of the main information!

### 4/5 — Must get it

*2010-11-04, version 0*

It is amazing I am doing GCSE DT and this app has really helped I think everyone doing DT should get this app it is really helpful, however I feel it needs more of the wood joints such as bridle joint as well as more on different types of paint it is too general on that front

### 5/5 — THE app for UK design technology students

*2014-09-03, version 2.4*

As a teacher of design technology I highly recommend this for colleagues and students. Everything is covered and is the perfect revision tool. This app covers all design technology areas in detail including Resistant Materials, Graphics, Food Tech and electronics. I especially like the controlled assessment guide which breaks down each part into well explained parts.

### 5/5 — D&T teacher

*2013-10-28, version 2.3*

This app is excellent, and well designed. Suggested to all GCSE students.
Would love to see a textiles version too!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2012-03-07, version 1.5.1*

It's really good but when you try to scroll down on Graphics>Materials>Paper and Board it stops midway. Fix things like that please

### 5/5 — buy this app.

### 5/5 — Well worth it!

*2011-05-20, version 1.5.1*

So useful, I have jailbroken my iPod and bought an AV cable so that I can use it with my smart board in school! An excellent resource, thank you.

### 5/5 — Excellent work

*2011-04-28, version 1.5*

Very good resource, keep up the good work.
Will there be a textiles update in the future?

### 5/5 — Brilliant App

*2010-07-25, version 0*

I use this App with my prod design students at gcse and A level. Having taught across A level, gcse, igcse, IB, MYP and PYP I can vouch that this app is really useful. Any app developed with mep has a plus in my book! I realise the app is developing but having signed up early last year I can already see the massive potential of this app. A really excellent learning and support tool for student and teacher alike. Would be good too see some 'how to' guides on sketching and rendering added at some stage. Well done and thank you! David Ardley, Design Director, Cranleigh School

### 5/5 — D&T Revision App

*2010-05-17, version 0*

I'm doing my GSCE Electronics a year early (so 26th May and 22nd June). I was in a bit of a panic about it because we haven't done that much on the theory work. I bought this app so I could use it to revise when I was out an it's amazing! Really informative and easy to use. It's helping me a lot. (now I just have to keep my fingers crossed so I remember it all in the exams!)
thank you! :D

### 5/5 — This app is amazing!

*2010-05-13, version 0*

I use this app over the recommended guides from our school for revision and used it through out my coursework for resistant materials, currently working at an A* with an A* in a recent mock thanks to this great app! Only one minor problem, the project circuits don't load in the electronics section! Otherwise, keep up the great work!

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2010-04-05, version 0*

This app has been very useful for my product design AS level exam. But there is also RM a few more. It has all the materials with their characterics and uses, there are prototyping methods, making methods, industrial processes. Highly recommended
