Especially all the seaweed ‘trees’ and decorations. Cant wait to see how it will develop and what buildings and decorations will be added in the future, im hoping for some gigantic squid statues or some crazy large corals. Great job! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Can’t get past tutorial *2025-07-10* No, it’s not wrong. It gets stuck in the tutorial and will not let you click anything to move forward. The FAQ/Help page is preloaded without a contact link. I tried. I play other games by you and they work fine. This one gets stuck and needs to be fixed instead of being told I’m wrong. In the tutorial when you get to add transportation, it won’t let you tap anything to move forward. The only button that works is “view tunnels” so you can’t do anything. Support is just genetic answers and no way to report a bug. (As in there is no link to get help if the issues are not covered under the generic FAQ and there should be one) So no, it’s not wrong, this is not playable. It needs to be fixed. Developers should look into it instead of saying I’m wrong. Clearly a customer has an issue and that was a horrible response. **Developer response:** We’ve reviewed your comment carefully, and unfortunately, much of it is inaccurate. The tutorial step in question clearly states “add a road,” and only that button is enabled. Once tapped, either confirm or cancel will progress the tutorial. There is no “view tunnels” button at that point, nor is there any way to get stuck. The tutorial is also skippable at any time (the link is bottom left of the screen). You also mentioned there’s no way to contact us—we’re not sure how that conclusion was reached, as the support button is always available in the in-game settings menu. We respond to every message individually; nothing is automated or generic. We’re happy to assist any player with a real issue, but posting a 1-star review based on incorrect assumptions, refusing to use the support channels, and accusing us of giving a “horrible” response when none was received, is not helpful to anyone—least of all other players reading these reviews. If you’re still stuck or need help, we’re always here. But claiming the game is “not playable” because you didn’t tap the one highlighted button isn’t an accurate reflection of the experience. If for some reason you cannot send an email from the game, our email address is support@spheregamestudios.com ### 1/5 — Don’t download this game you can’t save your data *2025-07-01* My mom accidentally deleted the app and I went and I forgot to download it so a year went by. I re-downloaded it just today and now all my data is lost. Do not recommend using this game **Developer response:** You stopped playing for over a year and left a 1-star because your mom deleted the app? Progress is saved online, but like most games, we can’t store inactive data forever. It’s disappointing to be blamed for something entirely avoidable. It’s designed to be foolproof, and can even be skipped. ### 1/5 — Building titles *2024-03-31* I really really was looking forward to this until there is no billing titles like gas station, towers, supermarket, you get the just did that change **Developer response:** We are unsure why you rated the game 1 star? Unlike our more traditional (real life) games, this one is more abstract - as it is set underwater. We added the ability for players to rename the buildings to whatever names they like as this allows players to be more expressive. Other players have been very creative with building names so far. ### 3/5 — Brand new look is terrible! *2024-11-11, version v1.05* Brand new look is very bright. Previous was perfect. I’m almost ready to quit this game as I have no idea what I’m building. **Developer response:** You are free to name the buildings, however you want, to match your city design. ### 3/5 — Cool *2024-07-13* Good game ### 3/5 — I really want to love this game but there’s a downside that’s a deal breaker! *2024-04-05* I love the concept of this game and that it's free! I play Designer City 2 and have built my city twice. Now that I finished the 2nd time I decided to try Aquatic City as I love the buildings! But, it takes FOREVER to get enough money to build or upgrade anything. It takes so long that I might be lucky enough to upgrade a utility once every other day. That makes the game zero fun. And, if you want to earn extra gold you have to deal with ads! I would give this game a 5 if it weren't for these two issues. Designer City 2 is definitely the better of the 2 games because you can build every day and not sit for days waiting for enough money to upgrade just 1 item. I sure hope they fix this soon as it's a definite deal breaker! **Developer response:** We've listened to player feedback and have just updated the game substantially reducing the building costs. No pressure in purchasing diamonds and money because you make it easy to obtain funds not like a lot of the other games. The graphics are so real. You can spend hours designing and re-designing your perfect city. Or you can re-set your game and start over. No ads. Recently they offered a nice set of buildings for a set amount. One complaint. The ground covering is tan or blue. The colors are too light for me to see them. Creating a beautiful underwater city is so enjoyable and relaxing. Watching the fish swim around the coral reefs and stunning architecture leaving behind tiny bubbles is so relaxing.
