I’d rather sell here than on Trademe. But the fees are a massive deterrent. Maybe incentivise listing multiple items. Reduced fees for listing more? You are also really let down by bad sellers who don’t mention faults and stains in clothing. There’s a 50/50 chance of this occurring. It tarnishes other sellers on here. ### 2/5 — App still needs work *2024-10-22, version 5.23.1* It won’t load at all for me now since updating and I’ve tried everything. Not ideal when trying to track packages ### 2/5 — No camera roll or attach photo on message box *2024-08-21, version 5.21.3* I just updated the app yesterday and as a buyer message box is essential to me to communicate with the seller. But now just sending message and no attaching photos or camera roll anymore in the message box. ### 3/5 — Generally good but hiccup since latest update *2024-08-17, version 5.21* Can’t seem to pay for item as the app gets me to the checkout point and then says install the latest version of the app. Which I have done a number of times (installed and reinstalled etc) to try and complete the purchase. Wish I could contact the seller so they know why I haven’t been able to pay for the item yet. Hopefully this glitch will get fixed! ### 3/5 — Good app, needs work *2024-07-31, version 5.19* I love this app but it needs a lot of work. It lags every time I scroll while browsing which can be quite frustrating. Depop is much more user friendly however, i do enjoy the convenience of the book a courier service. The purchase protection is also a really great policy they have in place however, a seller was still able to scam me and they couldn’t do anything about it which was disappointing. ### 3/5 — Laybuy disappeared *2024-06-29, version 5.18* Was relying on Laybuy to pay for an offer I placed and when my offer was accepted I discovered you’ve gotten rid of that as a payment option with this new update. Disappointing! ### 1/5 — Done with this app. *2024-05-20, version 5.16* I become more and more frustrated with this app and Designer Wardrobes every time I use it. The offer function, while a good idea, is a complete waste of time when DW doesn’t automatically take payment from the buyer. Many times I am stuck for several days when I’ve accepted an offer and the buyer doesn’t pay. Too much emphasis is put on buyer protection and I won’t be using Designer Wardrobe as a seller anymore. In addition the app has so many functionality issues - slow, doesn’t work when you click things. ### 2/5 — Not working properly lately *2024-04-26, version 5.14* For some reason I am lately running unto errors with the app. ### 3/5 — Overall great finds but difficult to search *2024-04-08, version 5.13* I’ve used this app for many years and while there is some great items available it can be difficult when searching for a specific item. For example when I type in leather skirt it brings up anything that is leather or a skirt, not just leather skirts. This can be frustrating. It is also quite slow and lags when scrolling, I’ve noticed this only after the last couple of updates. Seems to happen wherever I use it regardless of wifi or data - I have a new phone with regular updates too so it isn’t that- this is also frustrating when you are trying to filter through all the suggested items from searching. Big fan of the buyer protection though. ### 1/5 — Don’t put my listing *2024-04-07, version 5.13* I posted good quality pictures of my listing but it wasn’t posted as it says on the web site in 24 hours and still waiting. ### 1/5 — Unusable *2024-02-12, version 5.10* Have tried many times to set up an account via email, then apple account and then email but it’s impossible as I never get sent the text code. Have tried my husbands number too which also won’t work (and yes I know how to enter it correctly). The chat function hardly ever works on iPhone. Search up certain brands and no results (despite me listing items from that brand). When trying to create a new listing. Pleased can you fix this bug! Listings look blurry & low-quality as I try to look through them. The text in the search menu is weird - I used to be able to see all my favourite searches on screen, but not anymore. Oh. And the massive ads & great big blocks of Afterpay spam are painful to scroll over. (Please remove these.
