## What is Deskdown?

Deskdown is a study-room timer that only counts while your phone lies face-down. (The interface is in Korean.)

- Phone-lock timer: face-down starts, lifting pauses. In Hardcore mode, not putting the phone back within the grace period (default 10 s) resets today's in-app record only. Keep the app open during a session; leaving it counts as a lift.
- Mock-exam timers (Deskdown Pro): CSAT, civil-service, CPA and patent-attorney schedules with 10- and 5-minute voice and notification cues.
- Daily full-schedule mode (Deskdown Pro): run your day as exam periods; you may use the phone only during breaks.
- Noise meter: measures the level in dB on-device; never records, stores or transmits audio.
- AI coach: daily, weekly and monthly action items from your own study log, computed on the device. Today's tip is free; weekly/monthly tips and deeper analysis are Pro.
- Ambient sound mixer and reports. Records are kept on the device for up to 5 years; the free plan opens this week, Deskdown Pro opens month, year and 5-year views, subject balance and hourly charts.
- Optional local study room: share only nickname, status and counted time with people nearby, with no server.
- Home and Lock Screen widgets, and an Apple Watch app.

The free version is a trial: the timer records up to 30 minutes a day, and sounds, notes and study rooms have small limits. Deskdown Pro is a one-time lifetime purchase (no subscription) that removes every limit: unlimited timer, 5-year reports, the AI coach, mock exams and the daily full-schedule mode.

No account, no ads, no tracking. All data stays on your device. Core features work offline (the study room needs Wi-Fi or Bluetooth).
Unofficial practice tool, not affiliated with any exam authority. Check official announcements for dates and schedules.
