## Newest reviews (11 of 38)

### 2/5 — Buggy, unusable and unmaintained

*2025-10-11, version 2.1.5*

Rife with usability and functionality issues. Last update three years ago says most of what you need to know.

### 2/5 — Mediocre, obsolete app

*2025-08-13, version 2.1.5*

The last release of this app appears to have been three years ago — that tells you how much the developer really cares.
It does the bare minimum: allows you to book a space and check in: fair enough, but it also logs me out all the time (sometimes I will log in, book a desk, and ten minutes later have to log in again to check in), and does not have an option to log in with FaceID.

### 2/5 — New pricing prohibitive

*2024-04-15, version 2.1.5*

The old $50 for 5 day monthly membership was amazing. The new model of pay per visit just isn’t good enough to convince me to use it often when 2 visits costs more than the old monthly membership. And let’s be honest, the spaces I’m going to are not full. I’m basically a fly on the wall using no resources except a bit of WiFi and some water, and I’m never there past 2pm when I leave to get my kid from school. So it just isn’t worth it. It sure used to be nice to get out of the house once a week to break up the WFH monotony, it just isn’t worth it now

### 3/5 — Great platform. Bad app.

*2023-10-05, version 2.1.5*

This review is specifically for the app, which is a headache. 1) I constantly get logged out. 2) Map view is rough — it appears like there are many Desks in my area, but when I click in, many places are Meet Only, even though I have the “Desk” filter on. Deskpass as a platform is great and I’m glad my company provides it and pays for it, as prices at many spaces have increased.

### 2/5 — App Update Not Functional

*2020-09-10, version 2.1.0*

After the new update, the app no longer even opens. Goes to a rotating loading circle endlessly. Definitely frustrating when trying to check in to a reservation and now I’m forced to use the mobile website. Needs work to function again and when it does, to function less like the mobile website and more like an actual app.

### 5/5 — Great for remote and travel workers!

*2020-02-13, version 2.0.7*

Deskpass was a blessing when I was working remote – able to take meetings all over Chicago and NYC and provided a community wherever I went.

Decided to hang on to my membership even after joining a local team, and it's been amazing while traveling, being able to host clients/partners for meetings even when I was on the road.

### 5/5 — Great for LA

*2020-02-13, version 2.0.7*

Love working at different places! Tried out spots al over the west side. Met a lot of cool ppl. Huge fan!

### 3/5 — Annoying that the mobile site leads to app

*2019-11-07, version 2.0.5*

I really just wanted to see locations of Deskpass eligible spaces to learn more. It’s pretty frustrating that every attempt of that leads me to download an app. 🤦🏻‍♀️

### 2/5 — Like paying to work at Starbucks

*2019-09-03, version 2.0.5*

Deskpass monetizes unused office space and turns offices into a Starbucks like atmosphere. I find it unsettling. Your essentially paying $50 a month to sit in someone’s cafeteria, when you can go to Starbucks for free; which would feel less awkward.

### 5/5 — Great app!!

*2019-06-23, version 2.0.2*

Great concept, a must for every coworker.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Great service. Horrible app.

*2025-09-26, version 2.1.5*

This app is so buggy and unreliable I can only bear to use it because my company subsidizes the service. Otherwise I would avoid.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2023-02-28, version 2.1.5*

Availability not up to date

### 1/5 — Bad

*2023-01-25, version 2.1.5*

App unusable (didn’t let me book), website almost unusable (sounds good button hidden below scroll on mobile, no confirmation email)

### 1/5 — Lacking

*2022-12-13, version 2.1.5*

Nothing in my area. The places they did have listed were no longer available but hadn’t been removed from the app.

### 1/5 — Not able to create an account

*2022-11-03, version 2.1.5*

Filling out all the info doesn’t enable the create button. Seems like there’s no way to create an accountl

### 1/5 — Questionable business practices

*2022-04-14, version 2.1.3*

I joined DeskPass early 2019, and was really happy with it.
Then the pandemic hit, and all coworking spaces vanished from their app.
Now in 2022, most of those workspaces have disappeared from the app with very few undesirable ones left.
In addition to that, the company started unpausing my account automatically and charging me for months when I wasn’t using the service.
When I contacted them to request a refund, they said that I should either cancel or keep paying my account every month, which is a big annoyance.
I requested that my account would remain active and paused, but instead the company canceled my account, which led to losing hundreds of dollars worth of credits that I have already purchased and can no longer use.
Honestly, I cannot find a single reason to use or recommend DeskPass at this point. Better alternatives with cheaper prices and more available locations are now possible, so I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

### 1/5 — The worst coworking membership

*2022-01-18, version 2.1.3*

Where to even begin.

Let’s start with the plans:
There are on 19-22 workdays in a month, and most spaces are only open on weekdays. When would I ever need 25 credits?? There has to be something between 12 and 25, or have spaces that offer better hours

The spaces:
There’s no consistency between the spaces. Good luck finding the secret methodical entrances to each one.

Some spaces don’t communicate their hours accurately on Deskpass so prepare to waste time driving to a place only to find it closed.

The app:
I’m on iOS and it’s buggy. Feels terrible

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2019-10-31, version 2.0.5*

Great service and concept but basically unusable due to the terrible app. Navigation takes forever to load, doesn’t reload when you try to move the map, and freezes - I can’t even move between menus while the map is loading. For a mobile booking system, I would expect a much better app experience than this.

### 1/5 — Seems like a good idea

*2019-09-20, version 2.0.5*

But the app is basically unusable. Not sure why but it ran very very slow when I downloaded it and the navigation buttons didn't work to go forward/back or to move from one potential shared space to another.

### 1/5 — A long story short from a deskpass customer for 17 months...

*2019-03-19, version 1.3.6*

Here’s what the Deskpass Co-founders decided to do after their app didn’t charge my credit card after I updated it...

...they automatically canceled my account, wiped out 54 of my credits, and they refused to give them back to me. They offered me a $49 credit for the next month, ha!

A credit is $12.25. That means they took $661.50 from me and provided zero value in exchange.

I only used the credits maybe 10-15 times in 17 months.

Nicole and Sam, I signed up for your email list back in 2015 and have been a customer since October 2017. It bums me out that you would treat your customers like this. Oh well. Moving on now. Good luck.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Easy to use app, great selection

*2021-11-30, version 2.1.3*

The Deskpass app is so easy to use and provides a good selection of affordable workspaces in my city.

### 5/5 — Makes hybrid work fun, convenient, & productive

*2021-11-29, version 2.1.3*

Deskpass gives our company the ability to choose the most optimal work places to get work done. We use on-demand meeting rooms and offices to collaborate or get that total deep dive mind space, and day-desks for spontaneous decisions on where we need to be and work.

We often plan our weeks together using Deskpass’s space links and have developed fun and productive work pods using Deskpass that are convenient to where we live.

Nothing replaces seeing my team and clients in person and Deskpass makes this easy and convenient for us. Its one of the first apps I look at in the morning to plan my day. Way to solve hybrid work Deskpass!

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2021-11-18, version 2.1.1*

This app is incredibly easy to use and gives me access to desks, phone booths, meeting rooms and offices all over the world, on demand whenever I need them. My company has a team account and pays for it too, which makes it all the better!

### 5/5 — Found Deskpass at just the right time

*2021-08-12, version 2.1.1*

Glad to have found out about Deskpass recently. I just moved down to Miami during the pandemic and was still getting my “remote work” routine together. But just like in a new city, the questions are always: where is the most optimal place to work for easy commute and not too busy but still a vibe, etc. And for me, I also had to factor in a place that is close enough to each one of my daughter’s school and aftercare activities. So each day getting to use Deskpass to try out amazing co-work spaces in Corral Gables, Brickell, Wynwood, and other areas was super clutch. Deskpass let me stay focused on my work while still being the best #girldad 😇.

### 5/5 — Must have for remote workers

*2021-04-22, version 2.1.1*

I use Deskpass to book meeting rooms to meet with clients, and private offices by the day or week when I need time away from home or to collaborate with my teammates. The app is great, easy to navigate, sleek design, and their customer support is always available during business hours if needed. I will never go back to meeting with clients at Starbucks! Thank goodness. Love this app.

### 5/5 — A really great tool to have

*2020-06-09, version 2.0.8*

I like working at hone and then there are times I don’t. It’s nice to have the option to step out into a professional setting. Super easy to use the app and a free trial makes it super easy to try. Worth a shot for sure! The prices are very reasonable too. Some Spaces are cool as hell too.

### 5/5 — Easy to use app, great product!

*2020-02-24, version 2.0.7*

I use Deskpass to help me find Coworking spaces in Chicago and across the US when I travel. The app makes it easy to find workspaces and conference rooms when I need them.

### 5/5 — Massively helpful

*2020-02-14, version 2.0.7*

I use deskpass when I know I have a meeting (or a couple meetings) away from my main office and don’t want to be in a noisy coffee shop in between, or spend the day working from home until the meeting. It’s super helpful because I can pick a spot near where I need to be that day, post up and come in and out when my meetings happen.

It’s also been helpful when I’ve been traveling for conferences because i have places to work while out of town

### 5/5 — A must have for work-from-home people!

*2020-02-14, version 2.0.7*

I use Deskpass daily to find and book coworking spaces and professional meeting spaces across the nation! Working from home or coffee shops is awful so Deskpass helps me find productive, professional places for me to get my work done.

### 5/5 — Finally out of the house!

*2020-02-13, version 2.0.7*

I’ve been a remote worker for years, mostly working from home...but no more! Through deskpass I’ve found a bunch of really nice co-working places and rotate between 3 or 4 of them every week.
