## What is DeskTally?

DeskTally helps hybrid workers track office attendance against their employer's target, so you always know where you stand before your manager asks.

Log each day as Office, WFH, Off-site, or Leave. DeskTally calculates your attendance percentage, shows whether you're on track, and tells you exactly how many office days you need to hit your target.

Set any attendance target from 10% to 100%. Choose how your work period is counted: by calendar month or full work weeks. See trends over time with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.

Optionally, DeskTally can detect when you arrive at the office using location and log the day automatically. No more forgetting to track.

### 1.6.0 — 2026-09-19

DeskTally Plus now covers the whole app for new downloads, with a 7-day free trial and a monthly or yearly plan. If you installed DeskTally before this update, nothing changes for you: the tracker stays free on your Apple account.

Also in this update: a refreshed first run with a smoother office setup, reminders that ask for notification permission at the right moment and recover if you change your mind in Settings, and Plus status that stays in step with Apple.

### 1.5.9 — 2026-09-15

Under the hood. Plus purchases and restores now confirm faster and stay in step with Apple, so your Plus status is right the moment a purchase or renewal goes through. Nothing else moved: your days stay on your phone, and the free tracker stays free.

### 1.5.8 — 2026-09-08

A quiet one. DeskTally may now ask for an App Store rating after you close a month on target: once per version, never on first open, always Apple's own prompt. Say no and it will not ask again this version.

Your longer-period reports now count every day type correctly, and Plus subscribers see everything they have paid for.

• Work-from-home and off-site days read zero on the Quarter, 6 Mo and Year periods, while the Month view showed the right figures over exactly the same days. Both now agree.
• Plus: the company-year view on Reports could show as locked even with an active subscription. It now unlocks alongside the rest of Plus.
