But I can’t even accept messages lol. Then once logged in I went to create me a Desti and all that just to learn I can’t do anything more. Like there’s no direction on what’s next. I restart the app and it puts me back to the beginning. Like I don’t get how to use it and what to do to make it work! Also there aren’t even that many suggestions and dates and videos. Like that’s the main concept no ? First, you can’t change any preferences besides gender. So i am seeing people 30 years older than me pop up on my feed when that is out of my age range. There are glitches like no photos popping up for someone’s profile, saying i have no matches when a number is there and then 5 min later they start popping up. There is no way to tell if you’ve already read the message someone sent, there is just always a blue dot next to it no matter what. I also try to respond to a specific caption someone put in their profile but it only lets me respond to the first one. So so so many issues that need to be picked to actually be a functioning app. The only 5 star reviews are people trying to get into their parties. ### 1/5 — Fake matches - DONT WASTE YOUR TIME *2022-08-10, version 2.1* All the matches are fake profiles, managed by Desti workers, to increase engagement on the App. App still always crashes when you try to report, and is constantly running out of matches. ### 1/5 — ads, not destinations *2022-08-03, version 1.2* This app is just travelocity with dating on the side. They don’t want to help me find a date. It’s only a way for businesses to advertise. There are major errors with almost every essential aspect of the app like messaging, making a profile and the layout. The prompts are also corporate cringe. They bribed people with drinks to make profiles, at the launch we were speculating about it being some sort of investor fraud scheme lol. Got stuck on the selecting a desti screen. Video stopped and couldn’t go forward. Also how does this app on the AppStore page says it doesn’t collect any data? I was asked for my phone #, age and location. All of those things are definitely recorded and stored. I tried changing my picture on my profile and had to force quit before trying again. Also, where can I access my profile and edit it??? No where.
