This was a waste of money. The test I had expired a year later, so it was never used. ### 3/5 — Extended expiration dates *2023-01-01, version 3.14.0* App does not allow extended expiration dates and does not work in the background. Please fix this and add an Apple Watch app. ### 3/5 — App makes own determination if your test is expired *2022-12-30, version 3.14.0* You don’t really need an app for PCR tests - plenty of easy to follow PCR tests exist without one. But what you do get is software that can refuse to run if it doesn’t like the expiry date on a test. Maybe the FDA extends the test’s shelf life, or maybe you want to make an educated decision about how to interpret the result, but none of us that under your control, as the app may simply refuse to work. ### 4/5 — Science good, App needs improvement *2022-11-17, version 3.11.0* The step by step guide is good for first timer users, but repeat users should be able to skip through the video guides to speed up the process. Not being able to skip parts we already know how to do having to use the built in timer which always takes longer than the hubs timer. So many issues and bugs with the app. Please provide a speed option for more savvy users who use the test more often and fix the bugs that exist on old and newer iPhones (13 pro here) I can’t wait to delete this app! ### 1/5 — Useless *2022-03-19, version 3.7.0* The test is dependent on the app. Woke up this morning and the app doesn’t work. It scans the test code and then just sits there spinning on step 1. Thankfully, I know how to run the test without the app. Also, tests haven’t been available for almost two months now. I signed up for availability notifications, so I haven’t missed anything. I emailed Detect a few days ago, and they said it will be several weeks before more tests are available.
