This game sucks. **Developer response:** Hi, we understand why being asked to subscribe before reaching the end of the first story felt frustrating. The point where the free section ends should be clear before players invest their time in the case, and we’re sorry it felt like an unpleasant surprise. Our Premium subscription supports the creation of new cases, but we should do a much better job of explaining where the free experience ends before players reach that point. Thank you for trying Detectea and letting us know how it felt. ### 2/5 — No new game after a week? *2026-08-22* You have to pay weekly after 2 episodes and unlock an episode every Thursday night. However, I didn’t even have one to play show up after a week! $5 for a week of not getting to do anything. Plus waiting a week to play one episode and it just kills interest. I liked the 2 episodes that I was able to complete. I cancelled my subscription. **Developer response:** Hi Ar os, you’re right to be disappointed. We communicated that a new case would be available on Thursday, and that expectation wasn’t met. We’re sorry you paid for a week without receiving the content you expected. We’re reviewing both our release schedule and how it is communicated so this doesn’t happen again.
