I loved playing this game because it was a new cutscene and mysterious clue at every turn. The story was amazing, which I won’t spoil to any new players. I enjoyed the game so much that I played the game multiple times to get the secret ending. This game was definitely worth the 5 dollars I paid.

Really really great game. I was a little apprehensive when purchasing this game as I didn’t know what to expect or if it was in English but I need not have worried the developers have done a brilliant job. The puzzles are excellent and the only time I used a walkthrough was my own mistake as the answer was very logical I was just lazy. The story is intriguing and so many unexpected moments. The monsters are scary without making the game impossible like other games. The atmosphere spooky. Some really original ideas too. It reminds me of forgotten memories another excellent game, however with more puzzles which makes me love it even more. I hope these brilliant developers make another like this one!

映画とドラマを見たのでプレイ。
台湾の実際にあった政治背景、文化等盛り込まれていてとても面白かった。
終始付きまとうじわじわとした不気味な気持ち悪さや主人公の心情に合わせた描写、とにかく表現や演出が本当に素晴らしかった。
様々なホラーゲームをプレイしてきたがここまでのクオリティはなかなかない。
映画がとても良かったのでぜひ見てほしい。
小さな会社と聞いたのでこのゲーム会社にはこれからももっと頑張ってほしい！
好期待喔,謝謝！

아주 무섭거나, 많은 퍼즐이 들어가는 게임이 아니라
플레이 타임이 굉장히 짧습니다만, 한번쯤은 꼭 해보길 권하는 게임입니다

Netflixでの公開と、来年の劇場予定を記念してアプリのダウンロードを決心(笑)プレイ動画観てるだけでも楽しめる、実歴を元にしたストーリーが素晴らしい。

映画化と公開プロモで、一気に映画の元ネタとなる本ゲームをヤル気になってしまった逆輸入パターン。サイレントヒルと真逆。

I bought this game, but it can't be adapted well on my mobile phone, and the full-screen notification bar can't be hidden. I hope you can pay attention to it and push updates.

I found the story and folklore of the game difficult to relate to. But that doesn’t warrant a low rating on its own. I actually would give this experience a 5 out of 5 but the overall tone of it turned out to be very bleak. :(

I appreciate the creators for putting this together. Fair warning to anyone who may struggle with mental illness, this “game” has a lot of triggers. But there is a fair disclaimer from the creators.

### 5/5 — I Have NEVER Gotten So Close to Crying at the End of a Game

This game was insane and I mean that in a good way. Like I am in absolute awe. The graphics? Beautiful. Story? Amazing. Characters? Heart wrenching and real. Length? Perfect— could have played it even longer. 

I really loved the old Taiwanese architecture used throughout the game and how the whole main storyline is based on the real events of a 1947 high school during the Taiwanese White Terror. I am an American and I try to learn as much as I can about other cultures since a lot of history and cultures are left out of the American education system. I knew Taiwan had been through a lot on its journey to independence and being the human rights haven it is today, but I had no idea the extent it went to. My eyes were opened by this game to something I had remained ignorant to until now. More games like this should exist. It’s a beautiful way of making people truly immerse themselves into history to understand what people experienced during that time period and learn about another culture. I highly recommend this game and can’t wait to go download RedCandle’s other game “Devotion” (it cannot be bought anywhere except their website now due to political controversy and banning issues). My only warning is that this game will throw you through an emotional roller coaster, so be prepared to go from spooked in the beginning to on the verge of tears by the end. I finished this game during my lunch break in public and I’m not the type to cry in front of people, but you best believe I was struggling not to after I finished playing. 

Absolutely amazing. 10/10 Thank you RedCandle Productions for making this beautiful game ❤️

if you play this game and you don’t know what it means it’s basically a high school girl that ratted out but there was a secret group reading inappropriate books. And then they got taken to jail, and someone got killed I think and she couldn’t live with the guilt so she killed herself. I was hooked on this game. It’s so beautiful and amazing 10 out of 10. I love this game so much, what’s even crazier It’s a real story freaking love this game download it right now!l

ずっと前から気になっていてつい最近、購入をさせて頂きました！

結論から言うととても楽しかったです！
謎解きもありストーリー性もあり、アクションもありと盛りだくさんでした！！

※ネタバレを含みます※

ストーリーは1900年代の中国？台湾？をモチーフにしたもので、当時の時代背景が複雑だった故のストーリーといったところでしょうか。。

最初の主人公が変わるところは意外性があり面白かったです！

自由に知識を追い求めたいと願う少女が巻き起こす事件は、責任や重圧感を感じさせ私もヒヤリとさせられました。

後には戻れない、やってしまったことの取り返しはつかない。と改めて教えてくれるような作品で、私が苦手な ただビックリするホラーとは掛け離れた、考えさせられる内容のホラーゲームです！

2エンドとも完全なハッピーエンドとは言えず、とにかく内容は重いです。
しかし、考察に必要な情報は十分に与えてくださりとても面白いストーリーです！
気になったらとにかくプレイすることをお勧め致します！

Playing this in 2024 and it’s difficult to find a game that keeps you interested, with good jumpscares and all but also leads you down a story without being rushed or anything. This game has much potential, even though it’s 7-8 years old now it still has that spark to it. I absolutely love this game, I got a little emotional throughout 😭 
I hope to see more from Red Candle games
