Plan your whole trip on a map in about a minute. Tell Detour where you're going, when you land and when you leave. It builds every day: breakfast, two sights, lunch, an afternoon adventure and dinner close to where you're staying, with real places you can open in Maps. FIVE SIMPLE PAGES • Plan: where you're going, when you land and leave, your style, and your home base: pick a neighborhood or hotel ranked by how many top sights are within a 20-minute walk, or let Detour decide • Itinerary: your days on a map, with colored pins and arrows. Tap a stop to see or change it, or switch to the Scrapbook and flip through your trip day by day, with pictures of every stop • Explore: browse sights, food, coffee, parks, nightlife and shops within 1 to 15 miles of your stay, with distance, photos and a popularity label where it exists. Flip one switch to lock a place into your trip • Surprise: roll the world! A game board lights up countries one at a time until one lands, zooms in, then rolls that country's best-known destinations until one lands. Favor popular places, skip countries you've already visited, and play with sound. Tap Plan this trip and Detour does the rest • More: your saved trips, export to Google My Maps, and settings REAL PLACES, NOT GUESSES • Popular sights from travel-guide listings, food and drink from Apple Maps • Address, opening hours, phone and website where they exist • Look Around street view, and walking or driving directions YOU STAY IN CONTROL • Pick a category for any stop or type anything: "seafood", "free entry", "quiet" • Lock the stops you love, re-roll the rest • Drag to reorder, move a stop to another day, undo any change • Trip style: history, food, nature, art, family, nightlife, budget, relaxed or packed TAKE A DETOUR Tap Take a detour for a surprise stop off the usual path, slotted in where it adds the least travel. THE TIMELINE KNOWS YOUR FLIGHTS Day 1 starts after you land, the last day ends before you leave, meals wait for mealtime, and Detour warns you when a day is too full. SEND IT TO GOOGLE MY MAPS Export your trip as a KML file. Each day becomes its own layer in Google My Maps. QUICK EDITS Tap the chat button and type a change in plain words: "add a seafood dinner on day 2", "I land at 7:30am", "check-in is at noon". Detour makes the change. PRIVATE AND FREE No account, no ads, no tracking. Your trips are stored only on your iPhone. Free, with no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
