## What is Detour?

Take the road worth remembering.

Most maps find the fastest way there. Detour plans the trip you will want to remember: places worth pulling over for, and quieter, curvier roads between them.

PLAN ON THE MAP
Search for places and add them as stops. Detour routes between them and shows the distance and driving time of every leg. Reorder stops by hand, or let Detour find a shorter order.

YOUR ROADS, YOUR RULES
Avoid toll roads, motorways, ferries or unpaved roads, for the whole trip or leg by leg. When a leg can't keep a preference, Detour tells you which one and why.

KNOW EACH PLACE BEFORE YOU GO
Open a place to see photos, the weather, and what it adds to your drive before you add it.

SHARE THE TRIP
Send one link. Friends see the trip on a web page, follow it in Detour as you change it, or make a copy of their own.

WHEN YOU GO
Hand any stop to Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze for turn-by-turn directions, or export the trip as GPX.

NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
Open Detour and start planning. There is no sign-up.

DETOUR PRO
Pro is for the days when you don't know where to go.

- Build me a trip. Say where you start, what you stop for and how far you like to drive. Detour composes the day, stop by stop. Swap or skip any stop.
- Highlights. Places worth the stop along the route you are already driving, each one reviewed.
- Worth a detour. Every place you open shows what is worth a stop nearby.
- The story and the tips. Every place written up: why it matters, and when to go.
- Unlimited active trips. Plan the next one while you are still on this one.

Pro places cover Europe and North America, and coverage keeps growing.
