## What is DeuceMate?

Stay focused on your tennis while DeuceMate handles the score, server rotation, serving side, and changeovers. Score naturally from your wrist, follow the match live on iPhone, and review detailed statistics when play is over.

GESTURE-FIRST WATCH SCORING

Keep your attention on the match with quick, reliable controls:

• Swipe up when you win a point
• Swipe down when your opponent wins a point
• Swipe left to undo

With point tracking enabled:
• Swipe right to view live statistics
• Double-tap to mark second-serve context

A glanceable scoreboard keeps the score and current server clear.

TENNIS RULES HANDLED AUTOMATICALLY

DeuceMate tracks the details that are easy to forget:

• Love, fifteen, thirty, forty, deuce, and advantage
• Games, sets, standard tiebreaks, and super tiebreaks
• Server rotation and doubles service order
• Deuce and ad serving sides
• Court-end changes, changeover prompts, and break points
• Singles and doubles matches

Choose from six formats: club or league best of three with a deciding super tiebreak, best of three with a full final set, Quick 4, a single super tiebreak, perpetual tiebreaks, or continuous points.

FOLLOW LIVE ON IPHONE

• Stadium-style scoreboard mirrored from your Watch in real time
• Spoken, umpire-style announcements through iPhone or a Bluetooth speaker
• Optional iPhone scoring input
• Reconstruct an in-progress match on iPhone, then resume it on your Watch
• Unlimited match archive on iPhone

UNDERSTAND EVERY MATCH

Turn point-by-point scoring into useful match analysis:

• Tag winners, forced errors, unforced errors, double faults, and ending shots
• Compare serve, return, break-point, pressure, rally, and score-state performance
• Filter statistics by set or across the complete match
• Explore an interactive momentum graph with optional heart-rate and steps overlays
• Review data-driven coaching and Pulse Coach insights

Export a match summary, full point-by-point data, or a self-contained interactive web report. You can also generate a structured coaching prompt to review with your favourite AI app. Sharing is always initiated by you.

UNDERSTAND TRENDS ACROSS MATCHES

• See how your game changes over time across your match history
• Compare serving, returning, attack, errors, pressure, rally depth, and optional fitness data
• Filter by match type, format, or time window

OPTIONAL HEALTH AND FITNESS

With your permission, DeuceMate records your match as a Tennis workout through Apple Health, including heart rate, calories, steps, distance, and match timers. Review heart-rate zones and fitness insights during and after play. Health access is optional; every scoring feature remains available without it.

OPTIONAL COURT COMPASS

Enable Check Changeover for compass guidance on which end to take. It uses the Watch’s built-in compass heading only—not GPS or location tracking.

BUILT TO FINISH THE MATCH

Your in-progress match is saved automatically after every point and when the app moves to the background or your Watch sleeps. Full undo works across points, games, and set boundaries, all the way back to the start of the match.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

• No account required
• No ads, third-party analytics, developer tracking, or developer-operated servers
• Match data stays on your Apple devices and in your personal iCloud Drive archive when available
• Watch-to-iPhone sync uses Apple’s WatchConnectivity
• Core scoring and match review work offline
• HealthKit measurements are excluded from the automatic iCloud Drive archive
• You choose when to export or share data, including with another person, a manual backup, or an AI service

NO SUBSCRIPTION. NO ADS. NO TRACKING.

DeuceMate is completely free for unlimited match tracking.

REQUIREMENTS

Built by a recreational tennis player for players who want dependable scorekeeping without losing focus on the game.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-10

See the bigger picture with Trends: a new way to follow your tennis over time.

NEW: PERFORMANCE TRENDS
• Open Trends from your match archive to see how your game changes across recent matches, not just one result at a time.
• Follow the statistics that shape your game: serving, returns, winners and errors, break-point pressure, and rally depth.
• See whether each metric is moving in the right direction, with clear match-by-match charts and an at-a-glance archive summary.
• Filter Trends by match type, format, recent-match window, and whether live matches are included.
• Choose rates or totals to spot both efficiency changes and the volume behind them.
• Trends also compares set-by-set win rates for fatigue. When you record optional HealthKit movement data, it adds steps per point; that series stays out of the way for matches without the data.

No account, subscription, ads, or tracking. Just your tennis, on your devices.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-20

NEW ON APPLE WATCH
• The ends-switch reminder now sticks around. After a set finishes, it stays on the scoreboard until the first point of the next set, so you can check whether you're changing ends without undoing a point to see it again.
• Faster match starts. DeuceMate remembers your last format and your singles or doubles choice, so Start Match goes straight to who serves first.
• Know what's being recorded before you play. The start screen now shows whether point tracking, Health and Pulse Coach are on and how to switch
  on anything that isn't.

FIXED
• The Health chip on the start screen now turns on as soon as you grant access, instead of staying amber until the next time you open the app.
• A match you just finished on your Watch is marked as stored on both devices straight away, instead of briefly reading "iPhone only" until
  the next sync.
• Swipe a match in the iPhone archive, tap Delete, and the confirmation now stays on screen until you answer it. It previously appeared and vanished
straight away, so a match couldn't be deleted by swiping.

IMPROVED
• Matches kept on both your iPhone and Apple Watch can now be deleted in a single swipe, no need to remove the Watch copy first. A full swipe still only frees up Watch space, so your archive is never deleted by accident.
