## What is DeutschStart Kids?

Discover German with Lumi, for children around ages 4–7.

DeutschStart Kids helps multilingual children practise German from kindergarten to school entry. Short rounds combine pictures, words with articles, listening and little stories. Speech uses the German voices installed on the device.

• 22 lessons covering family, colours, animals, everyday life and school
• 7 game types: picture matching, listening, stories, rhymes, syllables, first sounds and sound recognition
• Rotating daily practice and repeatable activities
• Listen to vocabulary directly from each lesson overview
• Learning progress stays on this device
• Parent interface in German, Turkish, English and Arabic; learning translations fall back to English when Arabic is unavailable
• No ads, analytics SDKs or child accounts

Free lessons can be played without subscribing. DeutschStart Pro unlocks all 22 lessons for the duration of your subscription. Monthly and yearly plans offer the same access. The price is displayed before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in Apple subscriptions at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Restore purchases and manage subscriptions in the protected parent area.

Learning and speech work offline. Purchases, restoration and additional system voice downloads require internet access.
