Rotating phone makes no difference. Display does not rotate to other features. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review, your feedback matter to us. Display rotation will only work if this function is not locked on your phone. Please follow this instruction and make sure Portrait Orientation is not locked. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204547 ### 2/5 — Needs more thought/work *2013-04-06* A nice calc with a nice set of features, but not very friendly to use: On the vertical mode, you have to use the '2nd' key to access brackets '()', and when you do, you have to use it again to access memory functions. Things like x! are on this keypad, but not Pi (not even using the '2nd' key. Yet things like unit change keys (k, M, G, etc) stay as prominent keys wasting space and don't even change with the '2nd' key. So basically, not very logically thought out or convenient to use. Nice programmers calc features on the horizontal view, but still same issues with bracket access and inconvenient key/function access. Also, the author has the value of Pi incorrect in the calculator!! This can also be seen in the app screen shot on iTunes, it is not …89793792, it is …89793238(46…) ### 2/5 — Decent looking and functions but.. *2013-04-05* Pi is incorrect. How can that be? And what else could be wrong???? ### 4/5 — Fix the hexadecimal 7-deg digits *2022-07-04, version 1.7* Now that I’ve used this app for a while now I think the hexadecimal digits for ‘d’ and ‘b’ need to be changed into their normal lowercase style because otherwise they look nearly identical to a ‘0’ or a ‘8’ digit making it extremely difficult to read I’d also like to see monospaced digits instead of proportional spaced digits. ### 4/5 — Well Done *2015-10-17* This is an intuitive and useful programmers calculator. You would expect there to be a lot of great calculators in the app, but there's not. This is the one to get. I'm taking one star away due to nagging pop ups for reviews and for upgrading to pro. I do like the pro version. I just don't like the nag screens. ### 4/5 — Pretty darn good hex calc *2015-01-30, version 1.6* I was heartbroken when my Casio 115 bit the farm. I depended on it to do a bunch of hex conversions for constants in my code and looked at buying a new 115es. But the hex stuff was buried under useless functions like integration. I am very pleased with devCalc pro.
