DeviceShelf shows you every device on your network — what it is, what it exposes, and whether it's a risk. No account, no telemetry, no hidden cloud. Your network data stays on your device.

iOS limits how deeply an app can scan a network. Connect to DeviceShelf on your Mac or PC, or to a 24/7 DeviceShelf server, and this app pulls the full inventory — every device's vendor, name and MAC — plus its security report and timeline. One license covers desktop, server and mobile.

OPTIONAL AI, CLEAR CONSENT
If you configure a cloud AI provider, DeviceShelf asks before sending anything. The consent screen shows the provider, endpoint, and exact data categories first: your question or selected network/device signals such as IP addresses, pseudonymised MAC addresses, host/device names, vendors, open ports, service banners, certificate names, OS hints and security findings. Local providers such as Ollama do not need cloud consent.

• Security findings from a paired desktop or server now appear in the app's language instead of English.
• Requests to your AI provider now identify themselves as DeviceShelf with the version number.

### 1.5.32 — 2026-09-22

### 1.5.30 — 2026-09-20

• Benenne ein Gerät am Desktop oder am Server um, und das Handy zeigt den Namen ebenfalls. Er steckte immer in den Daten, die App hat das Feld übersprungen.
• Tippe im Sicherheitsbericht auf eine CVE-Nummer, um den Eintrag in der National Vulnerability Database zu öffnen.
• Die Gerätedetails halten auch der größten Schrift stand. Das Blatt scrollt, lange Beschriftungen brechen um.
• Der BT Smart Hub 2, auch als EE Smart Hub und Plusnet Hub Two verkauft, steht in der Router-Liste. Die Router-Karte sagt, was jede Marke braucht, und ein Gerät ohne MAC-Adresse sagt, was einzurichten ist.
• Neuere OpenAI-Modelle funktionieren wieder mit deinem eigenen Schlüssel.

### 1.5.26 — 2026-09-17

• Namen eines UniFi-Controllers sind wieder Hinweise: Bezeichnungen im Stil „Mac fe:93", die der Controller erfindet, verlieren den MAC-Anhang, und eine nackte MAC-Adresse ist kein Name. Ein Name, den du einem Gerät gegeben hast, wird nie ersetzt.
• Die Switches und Access Points des Controllers erscheinen jetzt mit ihren Namen in der Liste statt als unbekannte Geräte.
• Die Namensbereinigung ist jetzt dieselbe wie auf dem Desktop, und Clients, die der Controller ohne IPv4-Adresse meldet, werden nicht mehr zu Geräten.
