Devotionalium is the world's first interreligious daily verse app.

Dive into daily verses from the holy scriptures of the
three abrahamitic world religions Judaism, Christianity, and Islam:

- the Tanakh (Old Testament),
- the New Testament,
- and the Quran.

Each day’s verses are selected from a large collection of inspiring Tanakh, Bible,
and Quran verses by a random algorithm and displayed in freely
available translations.

Devotionalium for iPhone is free to download and use.

Den Zufall als Anregung zu nehmen ist sehr gut. Ich wünsche mir, eigene Bilder einfügen zu können, bzw. der Name des Fotografen in der Mitte ist sehr unnötig. Für den Text könnte ich mir auch eine Interlinear Darstellung vorstellen.

Jeden Tag ein Vers aus Tanach, Neuem Testament und Koan, die miteinander korrelieren. Fein ausgesucht und mit einem Belohnsystem verknüpft (Früher Vogel für das Lesen vor 7 Uhr, witzig).
Angenehme Optik. Wechselnde Hintergründe.
Die App macht Lust auf mehr Lektüre. Man kann dank der Quellenhinweise tiefer graben. Auch Urtextlektüre (wäre) möglich.
