Soo disappointed. A.W. Tozer would want the developer to fix this App or refund my (and probably others) $4.99. Please check and let us know if you are still experiencing issues ### 1/5 — Update Failure - Completely Useless App *2024-12-27* This used to be one of my favorite daily devotionals. With the current updated app, rather than read the wisdom of Tozer’s writings, I’m now frustrated by an app that struggles to open the devotional or plagued by commercials (when I’ve paid the $9.99 to be commercial-free). Best bet, buy his writings and save yourself the frustration of a now unusable app. ### 1/5 — Locks up *2024-01-04* The app locks up every time I want to use it. disappointed as the first time I opened it, it worked and the content looked good **Developer response:** We have released an updated version with the fix. Please check and let us know if you are still experiencing issues ### 1/5 — Older versions gone? *2022-11-19* I had this app on my old iPhone 5. Now it's gone. I tried to reinstall only to get the message that it's for ios12 or better. My other apps detect my older version and offer an older app. Can this not happen for this app as well? I gave this another chance. Hoping it would still be somewhat useful and have the Tozer devotionals. Imagine my surprise when, instead of seeing a devotional I was first directed to buy some shoes. Well done whoever’s doing this. ### 1/5 — Absolutely useless *2022-02-19* This is not a devotional, but a thinly disguised vehicle for ads. Ads are fine, but they shouldn’t dominate. These do. Also the layout of the content is vague and pointless. Each time you check on one of the different themes, you have another ad to watch simply because you tried to navigate through. As a devotional app, this is a complete disgrace. Avoid. ### 1/5 — App freezes *2021-12-16* Used to work great. Now only freezes. I purchased the “ad free” version but when downloaded it across my other devices, I found out I need to purchase for each device... ugh... . can this be changed? . Please.... would love to give 5 stars!!!! ### 5/5 — Daily go to devotional reading *2024-12-28* Review update. Previously had issue with new update (December 2024) but just had to switch iPhone background from dark to light in order to read text; this was not an issue before update. I encourage everyone to use this devotional resource daily. Tozer gets it right because he centers on the nature and character of God, which is the focal point of worship. ## Most praised reviews (1 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Recent update needs immediate attention *2024-12-26* Really enjoy the app but recent update (December 2024) is not displaying any text once a date is selected. Also the background is now black so I’m unsure if this is why text cannot be seen; although the titles for each day can be. Development team please fix.
