Long release notes are distilled to a single line by Apple Intelligence, running entirely on your iPhone or iPad. No changelog is sent to a server and nothing leaves the machine. Summaries used to be limited to the releases inside your briefing window, so an older version had no way to get one; now any release whose notes are worth compressing has a Summarize button, in a repository's history and on every member of a combined group. Included with Pro. Also in this version: • Repositories can be marked deprecated, end-of-life, retired or relicensed, with a successor. A version number cannot express this: a retired project keeps its highest version forever, so it reads as up to date long after the right move became "move off it" • Helm charts link to the upstream project they package, so a chart and its source travel together • A Helm chart's changelog no longer repeats the chart's one-line description once per version, and renders as a version timeline instead • Summarizing shows how far along it is while it runs, instead of a spinner that could not be told from a hang • The Summarize button is a real button with room to hit it, rather than a line of small text wedged between two links • A generated summary looks the same everywhere it appears, and is highlighted so it reads as the distillation of the changelog instead of a footnote about it • The briefing digest appears reliably, survives navigating away while it is still being written, and no longer takes its whole sample from one busy repository • Exporting the same library twice now produces the same file ### 1.10.0 — 2026-08-12 • DevPulse now summarizes long release notes on your device. Apple Intelligence writes a one-line summary of each release in your briefing, plus a short digest of the whole window: what shipped, and what needs attention first. Everything runs on-device, so no changelog is sent anywhere. Summaries are marked as generated and never replace the notes, which stay one tap away. Requires Apple Intelligence and a Pro unlock. • The release briefing is now a tab of its own. It used to be a row in the repository list, which a phone never showed, so on iPhone the briefing was effectively out of reach. Tapping a release still takes you to its repository. • DevPulse now confirms the security advisories your release notes mention. When notes name a GHSA or CVE identifier, DevPulse resolves it against OSV.dev and marks that release with a confirmed-advisory badge and its published severity, ranked ahead of every other risk signal in your briefing. It only checks advisories the notes actually name, so it never reports a release as clean. • DevPulse now installs on iOS and iPadOS 26.0. The first release was built against a newer SDK and asked for 26.5, which is higher than the App Store listing said and higher than DevPulse actually needs. • A Helm chart that republishes its whole index no longer floods the briefing. Versions restamped together in one regeneration collapse into a single entry with a count of what it stands for. • Repository details now update as soon as releases arrive from another device over iCloud. • The Pro pitch no longer advertises Mac-only features.
