### 1/5 — Crap! Ne Fonctionne pas

*2022-11-05, version 2.9.1*

No possibility to create an account, the application does not let us confirm our password. What a waste of time and frustration caused by this application that should be simple.

Aucune possibilité de créer un compte, l’application nous laisse pas confirmer notre mot de passe. Quel temps perdu et de frustration causé par cette application qui devrait être simple.

### 1/5 — This sucks

*2026-05-06, version 3.4.4*

This app is horrible. Won’t let me log in, just keeps taking me back to the login page. Bring back the old app and fire the guy that set this one up.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2025-12-17, version 3.4.3*

Really bad. Had to create a new account because apparently they deleted all my info. So after that, I can’t even login. All my info is right and it sends me to a page to accept the terms and stuff and then it puts me right back to the login menu. Just sent in a loop over and over. If I can’t even log in then I have no hope for the rest of the app. Don’t download this garbage.

### 1/5 — Bad move

*2025-11-19, version 3.4.3*

Had an app that worked for me for years, now I haven’t neen able to reset my password as requested and no response from tech support.
Something so simple and now nothing works🤬🤬🤬

### 1/5 — Why did you get rid of the tool connect app?

*2025-10-07, version 3.4.1*

I’m not a business owner. I’m just a guy who wants to use his dewalt work light as a backyard light. I used to be able to turn it on with the old tool connect app before I went outside in the dark. Now I have to fumble my way through the dark to get to the light to turn it on manually. I’ve tried with this app but it asks for a company code to be able to create an account. Why doesn’t Dewalt care about the average consumer any more?

### 1/5 — Tool Connect was way better

*2025-09-13, version 3.4.1*

I still use Tool Connect on my phone even if it’s no more available on the App Store.

Faster, more useful with my BlueTooth lamp.

I don’t recommend Site Manager.

### 1/5 — This app is terrible

*2025-08-25, version 3.4.1*

Tool connect used to work fine. I was kicked out and had to download this app. Can’t even create a new account now. Terrible app

### 1/5 — App is terrible

*2025-03-17, version 3.3.4*

Did have a useful app to control my light. You canceled it and made me get this one. It takes about 1 minute and many clicks to turn on my light. Plus you got rid of the battery meter. You made your 200 dollar light worthless. Need to be able to turn on my light with one click. Will not be buying any more of your tool connects.

### 1/5 — Don’t work

*2025-01-14, version 3.3.2*

App doesn’t work

### 1/5 — 30 tool limit

*2024-02-04, version 3.2.4*

I added 30 tools/and batteries and then it locked me out and said I cannot add more tools. Says I need to upgrade my membership. I’ve tried upgrading and I can’t. I’ve called support and they say email is the only way of contact. I’ve emailed multiple times with no reply.

### 1/5 — Limit of 30 tools unless you pay upwards of $1k for upgrade

*2023-11-09, version 3.2.1*

Severely disappointed with the limit of 30 tools. Salesman tried to sell me on very expensive plan for management of more than 30 tools

## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great tool

*2025-05-02, version 3.3.5*

It’s a great app and the chips and such are super handy to pop in your tools and always know where they are

### 5/5 — Updating.

*2021-08-09, version 2.2.2*

Testing. Will update review.

### 2/5 — Out of my sight manager

*2026-02-19, version 3.4.4*

Somehow Dewalt went from something that was slightly broken but useable to another App that is even more cantankerous than the first. Links are broken everywhere, after contacting support I went from the 7 circle of hell to maybe the 4th and It runs in circles when agreeing to the TOS. The link and app was doing the same shenanigans when telling me I need to reset my password.

### 2/5 — How is this live?

*2025-05-13, version 3.4.0*

Guys, guys, guys. Either take this limping jalopy down for long enough to make it worth using, or spend the time and money to build something new. Leave the legacy app up for people who are too entangled to switch and release a clean app that does the basics well. I’m just trying to put together a list of my tools with some simple info, but multiple tools aren’t even in the database - several tools with QR codes don’t bring anything up.
A major manufacturer of this stature offers an app where the keyboard doesn’t even show up when you select a text field. Not a good look.

### 2/5 — Used to show tool images, now doesn’t

*2024-12-15, version 3.3.2*

Pictures that load on web application no longer transfer to the mobile app. Very annoying!

### 2/5 — Outrageous Tier 1 Price

*2024-11-13, version 3.3.1*

For adding more than 30 assets you need to upgrade your tier plan. The next upgrade would be for 750 assets at $2,500/yr. Good app if you only need to keep track of small amount of tools, otherwise too expensive for the very little this software has to offer.

### 2/5 — Organized!

*2022-11-12, version 2.9.1*

Need more than 30 tools input. All my tools using the tool connectors are register as tool connect and on top I have the tool, so just there I already hit more than 26 (connector and tool) entries and unable to add all my batteries I have. I emailed to upgrade and took a while to get a reply and now waiting on the call to upgrade, which has been a while too. Can you please just add more on the Tier 0 since adding a tool with a connector attached is taking two entries.

### 2/5 — unable to add picture of your tools

*2022-10-21, version 2.9*

Easy to navigate within the apps an even more directly on the web site to create your tools inventory, organized in categories, assigning tools for jobs or employes. But it's mostly adapted for Dewalt. The only tools picture are from Dewalt and even not all of them. No picture can be added. I wish it could add this option and to upload owner manual for Dewalt and other Brand.
Pat.
