There are some really weird things i’ve encountered that I wish could be updated. If you are trying to master a certain pokemon that has cards from the E-reader era, some cards from that era have a variant without the E-reader symbol, but not in english. So why when I try to master the english collection is saying I’m missing “Non-english” cards. I also don’t care about collecting Jumbo, but that pops up as a variant too. I really wish there was a way for the users to remove certain variants of cards, that would make it a lot more clean. Overall great app, those are just my gripes about it. ### 4/5 — Great app but could have some improvements *2026-08-30, version 25.0.1* Really great for Pokémon collectors. Market prices from TCGPLAYER, Cardmarket, Cardtrader and EBay. Also keeps track of your cards with expansions as well. The first being the lack of languages. I have many cards that I have to improvise adding in because the proper language is not an option, would you maybe consider adding more languages please? Ranging from German to Korean? Also old and new sets in the languages please. And as for the binder feature that was added recently, I adore it. It allows me to track all the different variants and decks I'm collecting really easily and intuitively, and all the sorting options available are really helpful. I also appreciate that the focus is less about profit and pricing and more about collecting. 10/10 work, much appreciated! ### 5/5 — BESTE APP FÜR POKÉMON-SAMMLER! *2026-08-07* Ich habe die App schon seit über einem Jahr benutzt und sie war damals schon super aber jetzt hat sie nochmal einiges draufgelegt! Im neusten Update wurde zum Beispiel hinzugefügt das man Preise von allen Anbietern wie cardmarket, TcgPlayer und eBay sehen kann ohne Dex+ zu abonnieren. Dadurch merkt man bei der normalen Benutzung gar nicht mehr das es eine Pro Version gibt da man quasi alles machen und sehen kann was ich wirklich super finde. Was ich noch gar nicht erwähnt habe ist, wie gut die App Designed ist (ich liebe das Design so sehr), wie übersichtlich die wirklich vielen Features sind und wie oft es wirklich gute Updates gibt (und natürlich die Unterstützung von Englischen, Japanischen und Chinesischen Karten und Sets)! It’s incredibly easy to use, beautifully designed, and makes tracking my collection genuinely enjoyable instead of feeling like a chore. The database is fantastic, the search and filtering options are brilliant, and I love how quick it is to check off cards or browse different sets. Whether you’re a casual collector or someone chasing a complete Pokédex or master set, Dex has everything you need. What really stands out is how much thought has clearly gone into the app. New features are genuinely useful, everything runs smoothly, and it’s obvious the developers care about both the app and the Pokémon collecting community. I honestly use Dex every single day, and it’s become an essential part of my collecting. I couldn’t imagine managing my collection without it now. I was using other tools to track my collection and have really fallen in love with Dex. The developer has put so much time and effort into making this a helpful tool for people who love collecting. I can feel the intention behind all of the choices here. I love the Smart Folder system and that you can filter by illustrator!! That’s amazing! And the scanning feature is such a time saver. I don’t play the card game but the fact there are even folders geared specifically toward building decks is so fun. This is a small detail — I expected the locked avatars to be behind the Dex+ wall, but after paying for the sub I realized those additional avatars are actually unlockable by collecting certain cards. That is SO cool and way way better than just a tier of content that you get by paying for it! What an awesome idea! Man, I can’t say enough about this app. I feel like the people who created it have a lot of integrity and a true passion for the TCG hobby. I really appreciate it so much. For as long as that spirit stays, I want to continue using this as my go to for any and all Pokemon TCG needs! I’m currently using it alongside the Collectr app. I love the species based collecting option, which is something I’ve seen no other well-known app utilize. I only wish that you could choose whether or not a species set includes the card that has a Ditto disguised variant. I have a few Squirtles, but also have a Ditto disguised as Squirtle (both because it’s amusing, and it looks like a Squirtle), and I wish I could add it to my Squirtle master-set. I’ve had it for like a year now and I have a massive collection that I am still not finished with cataloging. What impresses me most is that there are constant updates and improvements. It’s like someone who has common sense asks “what would the users want?” And then executes. While performing the task of logging thousands of Pokémon cards, I have found out what works and doesn’t work. Also what is needed to quickly and efficiently log them. This app gives you several ways of displaying and saving your cards. Several ways of looking at your collection. So many ways to parse out what you want.
