It suggests BELOW 15 to 16% body fat for me as a 25yo woman. Most women have fertility issues when they are that low and it is definitely not sustainable or healthy for the long term. It has also has feature that shows your estimated total years you could live. You can take a body fat toggle and and lower it to show that it increases your estimate time of life. The problem is that my estimated time of life keeps increasing as I decrease the percentage past 16%, suggesting the lower the better. This is just not accurate, if a woman has 5% body fat they won’t live until they are 95. They probably won’t live past a couple of months. People who are using this app will get the wrong idea about fat % and potentially strive for an unhealthier version of themselves for it. This app should be about getting healthier. I’m sure it’s just a coding issue and not what the developers truly thing, but please fix it! ### 2/5 — Previous Scan Data Not Populating *2022-05-31* Only my most recent scan data is populating in the app. Prior to today I was able to see previous scans in my charts and track my change. Not sure if there’s a data or profile issue, but the app isn’t much use until it’s fixed (for me) **Developer response:** Hello, Your app account is likely stale. Please log out and log back in to the app to resolve. If you have any further issues please submit a support request within the app. Most issues are resolved within a day. Thank you. ### 3/5 — Dexa Scan Color *2020-12-22* The app has improved. But, it would be beneficial for visual comparisons if the Dexa Scan image was in color as it is on the paper print out and system in the office. This way we could see the fat to muscle contrast in the app Dexa image for data purposes. Making it easier to see where fat is pulling from on the app! **Developer response:** Hello, this feature is live in the app now! Hope you like it! ### 2/5 — Unreliable *2020-02-13* The concept of having an app where you can see all of your results is brilliant but the app falls short. My 3D scans don't show up for days. I have to rely on emails to get my reports. Why would I not have access to those stats? It seems like it only caters to the dexa scans and not the data from the 3D scans that they also offer. It wiIl tell me they are saved, and when I return to the app, everything is reverted. Would be great if we could use with other DEXA scan locations. ### 1/5 — Still doesn’t work on iOS *2024-09-27* App starts then keep throwing up “enter name”, has been this way for like a year come on ### 1/5 — Why? *2024-09-25* This app was extremely useful until recently. I noticed there had been a few bug fixes and I had to re enter my password. My last scan was in July and my biological age was 52 with an overall score of B. I check the app today and now my biological age is 58 with a score of C?! Why? You can’t just change the parameters on the users like that! Now I feel like my hard work and 20 pound weight loss was not enough. Is this a glitch or have the scores been too high all along? I don’t know what to think now. ### 1/5 — Won’t let me delete account *2024-08-29* It falsely shows the option to delete account but won’t allow me to delete my account. ### 1/5 — Notifications *2024-07-21* I’ve chosen not to receive notifications because why would I want to get them for an app like this. DexaFit does not like this. Whenever I open the app a message pops up notifying me I can turn on notifications in the settings app. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Oh, and not all of my tests are showing up in the app. ### 1/5 — Ugh *2024-01-03* To top it off, my lengthy review with problems does not appear ### 1/5 — No images *2021-09-30, version 2.9.2* The app will not show me my image scans. It only shows a black box. When I try to export the results, it will not even email me the images. What a waste of money. ### 1/5 — Removes “inactive” accounts *2021-09-15* This is my first review in the app store, so you know I must be displeased. The app does not store your results, unless you continue to get scans. My advice, is to screen shot your results. This is an unnecessary money making scam on their part. **Developer response:** Hello, we are sorry for the confusion but this is not correct. We do not charge you for accessing old scans. Your account is likely stale and you need to log out and log back in to refresh your account. You will always be able to access the scans you’ve had done. Thank you. ### 1/5 — Glitch *2019-12-28, version 2.2* I get a “user not found” error when using the same login I use for the DEXA website ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great for keeping track of Dexa & VO2 results over time *2025-12-21* Like being able to go back four or more years to see my results for bone health and muscle mass plus VO2 tests. Just like I can go to Quest and see my blood tests from 10 yrs ago. They see to be adding more features to the app as well. ### 5/5 — Amazing technology *2025-04-02* Minus the reviews about optimal body fat % most of the bad reviews seem to be related to user error. I have been waiting ten years for this technology to become available to the public. The fact that it also stores and plots your data is amazing. I really like the benchmark score against peer it provides. I also cannot get the dart to go into apple health. I have gone to settings on apple health and allowed it to connect with dexafitAI, but when you click on the link it says “no data from DEXAFIT” even though I have two sets of readings.
