Diabetes is one small thing in your life and diabetes is not so bad. Sure there’s a few other steps to your life but it’s not a huge deal. This app is really helpful for my sugars, and you can share it for you to the people you love. You have to they have to get a separate app so they can see your sugars, other than them looking at your phone. This has helped me with my diabetes and my whole family to help me. I got diabetes October 8 and I have used my Dexcom ever since. And it has helped so much. Don't get me wrong but this dexcom app is amazing. The one thing that confuses me though, how do you change the numbers to 70 or 101 or something. Anyway Thank you for reading . Hope this app helps. Because it helps me!!!!!!! Oh and also if your turn your high and low alarm on and off then when you turn them on again but then you put your phone on silent mode and then turn it back off then you're alarms won't work cause I got two 2.8 and my alarm didn't even go off but I am can you do something about that. And please can hear something about the alarm not working cause sometimes they don't work for me and then sometimes I get to 3.1 and I didn't even see it on my dexcom. I would really appreciate settlings for visually impaired people. ### 3/5 — Not consistent *2026-08-20, version 2.14.1* I’ve been Type 1 Diabetic for 10 years and have had some experience with and without technology revolving around Diabetes. I’ve been on DexCom for around 5+ years(G6 and G7). The G6 was honestly more consistent and durable in my opinion. Every sensor with the G7 is either really good or useless. When good it last a while and is always consistent. However, I’ve struggled a lot with two main problems with the G7. The main one is it completely quits on you way earlier than 10 days. I notice this happens the most when i sleep and putting pressure on my arm, since I put the sensor on my arm. It is common the device will only last 2-5 days and no way to fix it. Second problem is here and there some sensors won’t accept your calibrations. My sugar will be 130 and I get urgent warnings saying my sugar is 40-50 but won’t accept my calibrations. It’s a constant alarm. I live the dexcom but to many inconveniences to rate it anywhere above a 3 stars. ### 1/5 — Still bad UX *2026-08-19, version 2.14.1* I’m not going to focus on the sensor itself, the hardware is overall good. This app, after mode than a decade, is still pathetic. I should be able to actually dismiss a notification without opening the app. (Why have the option if you’re not going to respect user intent.) Figure out timers and basic math (like moving average and first derivative). Again this comes in during notifications. If the (re)notification period is 15min you should not alert me before then if I just went above threshold for a few samples. Don’t prompt users about your stolen Dexcom sensors and force them to acknowledge every day or so. Acknowledged once is enough. I understand that your engineers don’t have to deal with this 24/7 but your users do. Calibrations, i.e., an error signal, should be taken into account more explicitly. Again, notifications when the error rate is >100% are disruptive. I’m not 50 if 3 minutes ago I calibrated the sensor to with 140. ### 1/5 — Notification update *2026-08-19, version 2.14.1* They need to prolong the notification updates to be longer then what they are at the moment, to be notified that your low every 5 minutes with a high pitched noise at 3am or in public is embarrassing especially as it takes longer than that for your body to react to whatever it is you’ve ingested to help the situation, it also doesn’t help when linked with a pump and have that going off as well, I sound like an ice cream van!! ### 1/5 — Rarely finds sensor *2026-08-19, version 2.14.1* My phone is in perfect working order, but I went through three devices to get one to work. Such a waste of time and money.!! ### 1/5 — Such a disappointment *2026-08-19, version 2.14.1* I was an early adopter of the g7 and after one trial I knew it was unpolished, unready, and frankly dangerous. The app fell into the unready and unpolished categories. After waiting till I was forced to it again non of the early issues were resolved. To log in on a warning and wait 30+ seconds for that warning to pop up is embarrassing. Basic features that existed and functioned seamlessly in the g6 app to slow and cloggy here. I tried to give it a fair go but they still aren’t fixed and the app deserves the reviews it has to date. In the modern world the transmitter isn’t likely to be most people’s preferred method of information. If the app isn’t there, people will find an alternate provider. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-08-18, version 2.14.1* This app is terrible. It never finds the sensor all the while my Tandem app links with the G7 just fine. I’ve been trying this app together with the Tandem app and now for 5 sensors in a row this app doesn’t find it while the Tandem app does. The only good thing to happen is I am able to submit an error report if the G7 fails upon startup which has happened twice. I am using the proper location on the back of my arm. I don’t recommend using this app. Use the Tandem app if you have the Tandem pump. ### 1/5 — First app I have ever used. *2026-08-18, version 2.14.1* Can’t scroll to look at past reads like you can in Stelo. Waking my wife and I all night with alerts. We are trying to sleep. So I shut off all alerts and then the app is continuously alerting me that my alerts are shut off. I had to put my phone in the car so I wasn’t constantly woken up with alerts. First thing I did in the morning was removed the sensor from my arm and threw the 10 sensors I had in the trash. Looking for another brand. ### 1/5 — Alerts *2026-08-18, version 2.14.1* Sensor failed and the loudest most obnoxious alarm went off. No sense of privacy with these alarms. Loud enough to cause a heart attack. I’m not kidding, I hate the alarms and it makes me hate the sensor as well. Alarms go off when blood sugar is slightly out of range. ### 1/5 — Is this for real?! *2026-08-18, version 2.14.1* So lately my blood glucose has been screaming low at me. Like 46 kinda low. That is what this app is currently saying it is. I don’t feel sick, tired or anything you would feel with a 46. So I took out my accu-check and tested my blood glucose……. Drumroll please….. 83. I can’t wait to get this device off me. If my Endocrinologist ask if I want another one it will be a NO. Just now got an Urgent Low alert. I have only had a handful make the entire seven days. I get random notifications telling me my notifications are turned off when they are set to ON. This device is helpful in theory, but because of the constant issues it makes life just as stressful as before having it. ### 1/5 — Every alert is Critical now *2026-08-16, version 2.14.1* Critical alerts in previous versions were reserved for urgent lows or significant issues. Now every alert is critical. This interrupts voice message recording, music and video playback, alarms loudly over CarPlay and requires you to handle and use your phone to dismiss the alert even while driving to silence it. Dexcom, your customers have lives. We cannot have this level of disruption for every alert. This app sometimes delays when it notifies me of high sugars. Especially overnight when it changes between alert schedules, sometimes it won’t notify me that my sugar was 250+ all night until i open the app in the morning. And yes it is running in the background, the whole time. So this apps poor functionality with the iPhones notification system is giving me nerve damage. They need to fix this ASAP. I personally cannot have critical alerts on due to my job, being in meetings and talking to people etc. I can’t have my phone dinging but would still like to be able to glance at my readings. Please fix this soon, you had this right on the dexcom g6 app, I regret that I can no longer use that app for glucose. Also fix the Apple Watch app so when I acknowledge an alert it actually lets me acknowledge or snooze the alert. I work in an office that needs to be quiet! I can’t just turn my damn monitor off! Also beyond annoying when I’m trying to listen to music or edit videos and have it CONSTANTLY interrupted by this stupid fing notification I can’t get rid of that beeps makes sounds and pauses the music, and sometimes messes up my video edits and the sounds inside it! It’s also sometimes impossible to even select the notification that pops up and will constantly jitter around your screen as you try to click it. Overall a hot piece of a garbage app, make it so your damn notifications don’t make sound, tired of the damn stress your app causes. Alarms still sound non-stop and on my profile page - it now freezes and doesn’t allow me to hit any button to adjust ANYTHING. It’s a great app!!!!!!! ### 5/5 — Learn Page *2026-07-14, version 2.14.0* While the Learn Page has some good information to read once, it is really annoying that it pops up every time I open the app. ### 5/5 — Great CGM and App! *2026-07-13, version 2.14.0* I enjoy using the Dexcom G7 10 CGM sensor and app. It's extremely flexible, providing three different ways to connect the sensor to various devices such as the iPhone, Apple Watch, and Remote Receiver. I have following suggestions and feedback: 1) The Feedback button in the app is mislabeled, since tapping it only allows you to rate the app (not here in the App Store). There is no way to write a comment, such as I'm doing here. Change the button label to "Rate This App," or similar. 2) For 10-Day G7 sensors, the Direct to Watch feature in the iOS app does not work until the sensor is fully warmed up and the app is displaying readings. Therefore, the Direct to Watch button should be disabled by default and remain that way until the sensor has completed warming up. 3) I had to call Dexcom to find out how to leave feedback or suggestions. The very helpful CSR explained that feedback and suggestions should be submitted here in the App Store. In the iOS app, it would be helpful if this procedure were explained, as it would save customers lots of time.
