All this when you need it most after pre-loading dirty laundry only to have to re-load on a different machine, especially if your cell signal is low. Still better than carrying pounds of quarters to do laundry but app developer really needs to invest in app improvement, perhaps a re-build. The laundry industry as a whole needs to develop a single standard for paying anywhere and everywhere. If the vending machine industry can figure that out, why can’t laundry? ### 4/5 — No problem *2026-08-08, version 9.2.0* Works good ### 2/5 — Convenience fee ripoff! *2026-07-22, version 9.2.0* I needed to add time to the dryer because the clothes were not dry. It cost me an additional $1 instead of 25 cents . All the other leads were added to the original amount. I don’t mind the $1 convenience fee BUT if I am still using same machine and only adding time don’t charge me another fee!! That is ridiculous!!! ### 2/5 — Works on its own time. *2026-07-19* My second time using this app at this laundromat, and it’s still just as clumsy, user-unfriendly, and inefficient. It never seems to do what it’s supposed to do always throwing errors or failing to communicate with the machines. The moment I pulled into the parking lot, I already knew part of my day was going to be wasted. I even had to do some breathing exercises because this app really tests your patience. ### 1/5 — charge for a wash for no reason 30$ for a 5$ wash *2026-07-13, version 9.2.0* bad ### 1/5 — Balance on app *2026-07-11, version 9.2.0* I started noticing my balance was off after each wash I added $35 to the app I spent $14 why is my balance $17 instead of 21. The app shows my preload as well as usage so unless it’s a fee to use the app why is it that my balance is different after purchasing a wash for a lesser amount ### 1/5 — Bad Payment Processing *2026-07-11, version 9.2.0* They seem to Undercharge and overcharge, then try and force you to pay more money than you owe. And don’t even think about contacting support about it because you can’t access the app until you pay the money they’re extorting you for. Pretty good app overall though besides the payment processing. ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-07-05, version 9.2.0* Says only charging 13 than I give permission to pay it through home and bill through bank acc says 25$ same thing happened to my wife ### 1/5 — Terrible App!!! *2026-07-04, version 9.2.0* I don’t think I have ever left a bad review, including when Sonos changed their app and it was a nightmare… and it’s still bad. But THIS app is the worst ever!!! The duplicate entries and the fact that it covers fields for necessary information in a way that you can’t enter it, is just the beginning. When you enter your billing address, you have to enter the zip code first, the city second so that when you enter the state, you still have access to the street address. If you do it in reverse (the normal order like every other app ever created), it will not allow you to see those fields. Then it makes you double tap on the screen to confirm your purchase, which actually works, but then it directs you to “click the side button”… which is different depending on whether you have an iPhone or android, and even dependent upon the version you have. Then the app will freeze or take you back to the beginning of your order. RIDICULOUS!!! ### 1/5 — Can not process payment *2026-07-02, version 9.2.0* I tried 3 times and it wouldn’t let me complete my transaction ### 1/5 — Charges a hidden $1.30 fee despite not disclosing this anywhere *2026-06-30, version 9.2.0* This is totally unacceptable. It’s not even in the fine print. The app is also a bit clunky. ### 2/5 — Barely functional *2026-06-28, version 9.2.0* For stacked machines, you can’t start a second load in the other machine if you already have one going. App is super buggy in general. Switching/adding payment methods is buggy. If you’re a laundry mat owner please reconsider using or implementing this crummy app. If you’re the app owner, please fix it. ### 1/5 — Didn’t work *2026-06-20, version 9.2.0* App does not work at my location. I got it because they advertised a free wash if you download it. Did it and of course it didn’t want to give me the promotion. Even then I tried to use it. It led me load funds one time and then it kept giving me errors. Waste of time. And they don’t have any support where you can try to get things fixed. I didn’t even realize until I was 3 washers in (I was using the 8.25 a wash machines) and after I started the 3rd one I realized they were taking $25 TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS out of my account for EVERY WASHING MACHINE. They said you get the difference back once you’re done. I’ve been done since this morning and it’s still looking like I paid $75 for 3 loads to wash. That’s not even including the dryer. It’s 3:00pm and I’m still crashing out about it!! Please whatever you do DO NOT DO NOT under any circumstances even download the app!! I don’t even know who to contact about my money!!! This is theft by deception all day every day !!!! SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS for 3 loads of laundry …wash only at the coin laundry ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not good *2026-09-06* I used the app a couple of times. It showed me charging more money to my card than I actually used but eventually it reflected the actual amount I charged to my card. However, today on my third visit the app won’t work. The person working at the laundromat tried, and couldn’t figure it out. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it didn’t work. I logged off and then back on but couldn’t because the app said there was system maintenance taking place. The person at the laundromat used her phone and paid for my dryer but still it shouldn’t be this difficult to use. Get cash instead because it’s just easier than this bug ridden craplication. ### 1/5 — Be wary *2026-08-23* I have used this app very successfully for the past 2 months and enjoyed the convenience. However tonight my payment card info ended up being compromised. I started a load in washer and then when I went to check my timer, the app had logged me out and my thought was well that is weird and I tried used the password that I had set to and it did not work, so did a password reset and within about 2 or 3 minutes of the password reset, it charged $20 to my bank card, and I did not ask for it to load any amount and this $20 DID NOT load to my Dexter account and here it has been 2 hours and it is still not there and plus periodically when I check the app under Preloaded functions panel a pop up appears that says Error and below says Request Error, so whoever it is, is still trying to charge my bank card to try to get more money from my hard earned paycheck. And of course this app has to have that payment disclaimer and that you basically use it at your own risk. But what the heck are you supposed to do when the change machine is malfunctioning and the clothes machines are not taking quarters and you desperately need to get your laundry done and the only time you can get it done is late evening because your work shift is daytime. ### 1/5 — UNACCEPTABLE, ENDLESSLY FRUSTRATING GARBAGE. USE ANYTHING ELSE BUT THIS. Im not exaggerating. *2026-08-23* Title should tell you everything. I NEVER write reviews for apps but this has been the absolute most miserable, frustrating experience I have ever had with an “app” (can you call it that if it doesn’t even function as well as the worst app you’ve ever used? Those worked better than this so probably not) I am literally just trying to give you my money for an outrageously overpriced service that you are already extorting me for and it rarely even allows me to do that. Just does not load or even acknowledge the fact Im trying to click on anything until I close the app, open it again and THEN it tells me that for some reason it cannot process whatever it is I was trying to do (literally just click a button to give them my money) and then goes back to not registering any input. This continues for an indefinite length of time, stopping only when it abruptly decides to process that button I clicked an hour ago or more likely - I give up in utter frustration and decide not to do laundry this week. If you are a business contemplating a working relationship or any sort of arrangement involving this app - DONT. You are better off with literally ANYTHING ELSE. Have your customers courier an envelope of change to you, it will be a much more pleasant experience & considerably more efficient. ### 1/5 — Worst app *2026-08-18, version 9.2.0* Scams ### 1/5 — No one to reach out to *2026-08-10* This app has no Customer Service has no contact us portion in the app. I use this app in the laundromat in Long Beach and each time I put in a load it cost three dollars but they charge my account $10 each time and will be pending for four days and days and will refund a few of them, but not the whole amount of difference and no one to reach out to when you need to ask for your refund. ### 1/5 — Do you like Holds? So does DexterPay *2026-08-08, version 9.2.0* As the title suggests, if you like $25 holds PER TRANSACTION. So does DexterPay! I paid for two washer/dryers and now have a $50 hold. Putting me at a lovely -$30. Thank you Dexter pay! I guess I’ll scrounge up the change I couldn’t put into the washer for lunch :)! TLDR, DexterPay will put $25 holds per transaction! What should’ve been a $5&$8 hold is now a $50 hold! Fairly easy to navigate. Only downside is that it cost $1 more per machine than what the laundromat charges if you use coins.
