I’d give it five stars if I could choose between 12 and 24 hour time. I’m not used to 24 hour time and would prefer an am/pm option. Other than that it’s really nice and I use it as my main calendar. ### 4/5 — Promising… *2023-06-25, version 4.3* It is good when I want one to have an app on 14 Pro Max that has plenty of bells & whistles, plus a UI that cooks my eyeballs. But Dey Minimal Calendar app is totally different to that kind of app! Only had it on my 14 Pro Max for 24 hours I can honestly say I love what I see when using it… There was no indication that learning how to use Dey Minimal Calendar app would take even a few hours so it could be used fully, I had Dey Minimal Calendar app helping me plan my work and social lives after literally ten minutes. As well as its simplicity when it comes to making full use of its capabilities, Dey Minimal Calendar app’s UI is really easy on the eye and doesn’t bombard my brain with information I don’t need to see when either adding an event or checking to see what I’ve scheduled for that particular day (or even week). I had installed the actual version that was available on the App Store when I came across it but I have now joined the Beta testing program and my 14 Pro Max is currently running the latest Beta version of Dey Minimal Calendar app (I hope this will help the app’s developers continue to provide us with improved versions of what seems like a very promising app). I’ve not yet installed it on my series 7 Apple Watch but I’ll be installing it when I get a chance (I’ll return to update this 100% positive review of running Dey Minimal Calendar app on my 14 Pro Max with how I think it works once installed on my Series 7 Apple Watch). ### 5/5 — Beautiful and free *2023-04-06, version 4.0* I’ve been looking for a calendar app on here which is both minimal and doesn’t cost a lot. What the hell? ### 1/5 — From pay upfront to, lock everything and throw old users under the bus. *2025-05-05* As a response to the dev i haven’t bombarded You whith anything, i sent one email and you haven’t responded. And that straight away equals a bad customer service, which means one star. It’s typical. Most developers who do change their pricing, quickly give old users access to the product, and you didn’t, either because you didn’t think it through, or you don’t care. Again one email, and no response. [Old] What the title says, and also he doesn’t respond to emails. One star is a lot for this app. **Developer response:** Hey, thank you for your feedback. You’ve been bombarding me with emails and 1 star reviews and I responded to every single for one of them, you simply didn’t like the answer and lied about me not responding. Every time I told you, the features you paid before it became a subscription, are not locked down and you won’t be charged again for them. Dey+ has only new features (as per Apple’s Guidelines), so if I was doing what you said about locking everything out, I’d be removed from the App Store because that goes against the Guidelines. What you want is a free subscription because you bought it when it was a paid app and I understand, I wish I could give one to everyone who bought the app previously. I’ve been working on a solution to this because I want to thank the people who supported me when the app was paid and it’s really difficult because of one of my main selling points, Privacy and Security. Since I don’t collect any data, not even emails or device IDs for analytics, there is no way for me to know who bought it because receipts can be faked. I’m actively working on this because I understand the frustration of early supporters and I want to thank them. In the meantime, stay tuned for this update, and please don’t mislead the users about this and lie about me. From a simplified and visually appealing interface that provides a no fluff, strictly necessary features view of your Calendar, to a privacy policy that ensures your Calendar data stays yours, Dey sets itself apart from the competition in more ways than one. Dey can create and edit events, all while making them look stunning in the Timeline view.
