I loved it in the 90's. Unfortunately the joystick locks into the upper right corer on my iPhone 6. Please fix and I'm in for purchasing the ad-free iap. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Broken *2025-09-21, version 1.1.2* Like the other reviews say the walking isn’t as fluid as the original but you can live with it using a gamepad. Although the graphics are true to the original, the controls on the touch screen doesn't work well. On PC, we have mechanical keys so we can immediately control the four diagonal directions quickly. Can't do that on the current implementation, and it detracts the enjoyment of the game. Loved it !! ### 5/5 — Exceptionally good, classic game *2021-10-12, version 1.1.2* One of my absolute favourite games from childhood, and perfectly translated to iOS. Graphics, audio, speed all just as I remember it, and just as much fun to play! Even if you never played the original its worth trying for its quality (of course, now retro) aesthetic and tricky gameplay. Great intro music, too… This is actually an edit to a previous review I wrote where, like a few others here, I complained about the controls that rendered an otherwise great game functionally useless. Turns out it was a problem affecting recent iPhone models, and since then the developer has worked to fix the issues. For me, it’s now perfect! ### 5/5 — Great game from the 90's *2016-08-14, version 1.0.6* Played this on an older pc for many years, great to see it for iPad/iPhone! ### 4/5 — Whaaaaaaaaaaat?!?!?? *2018-01-16, version 1.1.0* I LOVED this game when I was a kid. I avoided family members often to play it. It terrified me and frustrated me, but I was wrapped up in the puzzles, the nigh-cyberpunk feel of it. I hooted when I saw this on the app store! The controls are hard to, well, control, as are all games that use the directional finger swipe for movement, but I’m gonna play it anyway just to go back in time.
