### 2/5 — Many incorrect answers throughout

*2026-05-12, version 106*

Many of the practice questions were incorrect, and rationales basically just said “this is right because the other answers are wrong” which was not the most helpful. Although having all the material in one spot was helpful, the inconsistency made studying hard and led to a lot of second guessing.

### 2/5 — Not worth it

*2026-04-10, version 106*

Stick with student RDH

### 2/5 — The ebook needs to be a book not a pdf

*2026-03-07, version 104*

I prefer using Quizlet. This app is poorly structured, from the ebook to the questions. I wish the subjects and questions were broken down into smaller sections. If I had the time, I would honestly just make my own Quizlet sets from the questions instead of using this app.

The way the app is organized is not motivating to use. The ebook is simply a PDF, and I have to scroll through it to find a specific subject, which is frustrating and time-consuming—especially when I don’t have extra time to waste.

This app should be designed to help students study, not make the process more discouraging. Another major issue is that whenever I accidentally click out of an exam, I have to start over from the beginning. It’s extremely frustrating. I could be in the middle of the exam, but there’s no pause or resume feature. That is definitely something the app needs.

### 3/5 — Wish it worked better

*2025-08-13, version 85*

I paid for the monthly subscription to access the subject questions and case studies to study for the NBDHE. The questions this app has to offer are great, however some of the buttons don’t work properly and it can be frustrating. I like to do the 50 questions daily quiz.. sometimes I can submit my answers, other times I can’t and I just wasted 30 minutes of my time because I can’t see the results due to there not being a button to finish the quiz.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t even work

*2025-04-09, version 80*

I updated the app because I was forced too and now it opens and everytime I click questions the entire app closes. It also didn’t save any of my progress I’ve made with any questions or case studies.

### 2/5 — Too easy

*2025-04-02, version 79*

Questions were too simple and the answer choices are very obvious. Not similar to the actual board exam. Book does not have enough information especially compared to other board reviews

### 3/5 — Correct answer marked incorrect

*2024-06-21, version 55*

Multiple glitches to the correct answers to questions. It throws me off when it comes to studying for my national board examination. Users beware if you get a question wrong, double check!

### 3/5 — Update shut down access for several days and waiting…

*2023-04-01, version 5.1*

The app, website, and digital book have been unaccessible for several days just so they could perform an “update”. I still don’t have access to the material! I am on a study schedule between work and school. Why would they update less than 2months before boards. They have the entire year to update and chose now. Very frustrating! I also have a mock board coming up and no access to any of the materials for the past week.

### 2/5 — Poorly designed

*2022-03-19, version 4.0*

This app needs to be reworked. I paid a lot of money for the board review and it lacks. I don’t even have access to my virtual lectures- not only that, but you have to log in every time to even view the book. Also- while the questions on this app are free; some answers that are correct are marked as incorrect. Not only that, but you can’t keep track of what you’ve gotten right. Or your improvement. Also there are multiple spelling mistake. I’m only giving two stars because DHS Seminars had the idea of making an app- but it is not very helpful the way that it is.

### 3/5 — Wrong answers

*2020-07-03, version 2.5*

Some of the “correct” answers are wrong. It would also be nice for it to keep score for you.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Questions are outdated and contradictory

*2026-05-15, version 106*

Asks about stuff that’s not on the exam. Some questions asked multiple times but a different answer each time so it’s confusing the information learned. For example one question says the anterior 2/3 of the tongue is innervated by the trigeminal nerve then another question says it’s innervated by the facial nerve. The lectures are nice though and I like the book but this app just confuses you with the questions instead of help. Better to use Quizlet.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work always an issue

*2025-12-06, version 90*

I can’t see the new 2026 book , it’s showing the 2023 doesn’t work on iPads IOS, there is always an issue

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-11-16*

This app doesn’t work on iPads IOS, I can’t watch the lectures

### 1/5 — DHS

*2025-04-08, version 80*

New update made the app even more buggy. Every time I try to open a set of questions, the app crashes. And all my previous progress was lost. Terrible app.

### 1/5 — Can not save answers

*2025-03-12, version 78*

When doing quiz questions or mock board, accidentally click back, and everything loss! Can not save answers.

### 1/5 — nothing is free

*2025-01-28, version 72*

updated and nothing is free anymore. ridiculous

### 1/5 — Scammed me with false advertising

*2025-01-05*

Let me start off saying that this app was originally free and included case studies along with thousands of questions, but they thoughtfully updated the app to force monthly subscriptions. Very demure; very considerate.

I decided to purchase the advertised $2.99 package that suddenly ended up being $20 after I purchased it. This purchase was supposed to include the full package of 4000+ questions, mock exam, case studies, time test, digital book and on demand lectures; however, I only got the 4000+ questions. I was ripped off and lied to.

### 1/5 — Incorrect answers

*2024-02-23, version 39*

Not worth the money.

### 1/5 — Incorrect Answers

*2023-11-14, version 22*

This app have NUMEROUS typos/incorrect information. For the amount of the overall program, someone from the team needs to go through and audit the app. Take all the exams/answer ALL the questions, and corrections NEED to be made!!!!! The questions will be answered correctly, but the system has the wrong answers checked. It is very frustrating thinking things are wrong, and then looking at the rationale and actually being correct.

### 1/5 — Needs to be reviewed

*2023-07-14, version 9.0*

There are multiple spelling errors throughout the practice questions, as well as some answers that are marked correct when they are wrong. When you go through the multiple choice questions it will give you a “rationale” for the answer, sometimes this rationale contradicts the answer it selected as correct.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Easy to use + inexpensive

*2025-12-19, version 28*

This app was easy to use, inexpensive and it helped me prepare for the NBDHE (passed the first time taking it!!!!!!). I also used Andy RDH and Student RDH and it can trip you up answering stuff between all 3 programs but I think having all 3 helped me in the long run.

### 5/5 — Great resource

*2025-05-20, version 83*

I really like the app. I love that it gives rationales after every question, unlike some other board apps. The only issue I don’t like is that there is ALWAYS an update. I’ve never had an app that needs to update every couple of weeks. It drives me crazy..but I update it though. I really like that every subject has ALOT of questions, so you have a chance to get familiar with different concepts and think critically. The sample board timed option is a good feature as well.

### 5/5 — GOLDMINE!!!

*2025-04-09, version 80*

This app is the BEST! I love the quiz questions and access to case studies and how affordable it is and how it asks the same concept twenty ways to really hone in on your critical thinking skills. I HIGHLY recommend plus the updates are important to keeping up with the board content so I don’t mind the updates it’s never effected my study time.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2025-03-09, version 77*

This app has full-size mock board exams with the PM portion and has rationale for every question. Feeling very confident about Boards because of this app!

### 5/5 — Passed first time

*2025-02-16, version 75*

I used this app for practice and it helped me retain information and being able to pass on my first go! Other than the updates and making the app sometimes inaccessible, it’s a 10/10 overall review.

### 4/5 — BOOK

*2026-02-08, version 100*

Overall i find it very helpful. I just wish i could download the book as a pdf and export it so i can write my own notes on it

### 4/5 — BOOK

*2026-01-28*

Overall i find it very helpful. I just wish i could download the book as a pdf and export it so i can write my own notes on it

### 3/5 — Accessibility

*2026-06-03, version 106*

I would like to be able to access this on my Microsoft surface pro and not just my iPhone :(

### 3/5 — Kinda outdated

*2026-03-29, version 105*

The app is okay but they need to update some of the information. There’s still questions about film even though there’s no questions about the NBDHE on the exam. I also don’t like how the 50 question quizzes are about the same each time you take it. The questions are almost the same when you take it and they need to have a variety of each subject. You have to do the 200 or 300 question exams to get more variety. For the amount of money this company makes, they need to update this app.

### 3/5 — The ebook needs to be a book not a pdf

*2026-01-21*

I like quizlets. This app is poorly structured from the ebook to the questions. I wish the subjects and questions were broken down into smaller sections. I wish I had the time to just make my own quizlets out of the questions instead to doing on the app. It’s not motivating to use how it’s structured. The ebook is just a pdf. I have to stroll down to a specific subject which is annoying because that’s time consuming and I don’t even have time to waste. This app needs to be design to help us study not make it discouraging.
