Some flaws in concept
This is a fun attractive food tracking app and scanner. But the flaw is that ultra processed foods haven't been well defined yet. There's controversy with the NOVA classification, and there's still argument over whether nutrient-dense ultra processed foods can be helpful, even with diabetes. Although research in general has shown increased risk of diabetes with UPFs, those studies included mainly fatty/sugary UPFs. This app rated a low-carb protein bar as a poor choice even though it's great for my blood sugar, but rated a homecooked meal of brown rice fish chickpeas tomatoes (no sauce) as awesome even though that significantly spiked my blood sugar. So it may be misleading for folks with diabetes. It makes assumptions that whole minimally processed foods are all fine for diabetes, but we know now with CGM use that plain oatmeal, too much fruit, whole-grain pasta, etc. can sig spike blood sugars. If someone weren't checking blood sugar or using a CGM with this app's recommendations, they'd never know that.

Horrible app
I read a bunch of reviews and the app providers keep responding that there’s
a free tier but I just downloaded it this morning and I scanned 7 items and now it won’t let me scan anything else without subscribing. Very disappointed
